Adams & Son Tree Trimming

Provided service as promised at a reasonable rate. They cleaned up area after they completed the work and they moved around some heavy patio furniture.

Ricky and his team were great to work to with. I hired them before to remove a small tree, and the reason I hired them again is because they were professional, friendly and skilled. I trusted that they would remove my large oak (the city nearly hacked to death to avoid power lines) without causing any damage to my home or property- and I am glad I did!

Adams and Son's was great to work with. We called for an estimate and they were the out the next business day, the price was reasonable, they were prompt, he (ricky) listened to my concerns and gave advice about other trees that I questioned. I will use Adams and sons again, and I would recommend to friends and neighbors!!!

They were competitive with the price. They fully disclosed what they were going to do. They said they could not guarantee no damage to another tree, but in the end, no damage was done.

Very prompt with coming to give us an estimate for the work. They were honest about the possibilities of damaging another tree. They arrived on time both days of work. Clean up was very neat. We would definitely use them again. The tree was very large, near our house and electric lines. THis was not an easy job.

Early in September I called and talked to the owner. He was going out of town for a few days and would call me upon his return. About a week later I called again and talked to the owner. He was home and said he would call me back later. He never called and I had the work done by another service.

My boyfriend suggested I call Rick Adams, while my boyfriend was going to be out-of-town, to check on having our cat rescued from a tree. The cat had been in the tree, at that time, for 4 days, and we had settled ourselves on the fact she was not going to come down on her own. My boyfriend, Greg, called Rick about rescuing our cat on his way out-of-town. Rick said that he would charge us $100.00 to rescue our cat from the tree. I was relieved, and, as Rick had told Greg, he called me early the next morning so I could guide him to our home. When Rick and his partner arrived, Rick was not sure he or his partner would be able to rescue the cat considering she was approximately 65 feet high; although, he and his partner were hopeful they could rescue the cat and were not going to walk away without giving a whole-hearted try. His partner geared up and began climbing the tree. Although Rick's partner should not have climbed the tree as high as he did, he did, and he met my cat and was able to rescue her. In addition to the danger, Rick's partner climbed the tree in Alabama heat and humidity. He should have charged a great deal more for this rescue, but Rick did not; he simply asked that my boyfriend, Greg, go to church with him some Wednesday or Sunday night (They worked together, previously, in a different position.). I did give his partner an additional $50.00 which no where near rewarded him for the job done. I highly recommend Adams & Son to all needing cat rescues and tree removal and trimming. No, I did not have trees removed or trimmed, but if a company owner chooses to do God's Will rather than make additional money, I would say his ethics, honesty, and commitment to a job well done speak for themselves. In addition to providing great service, they were professional at all times and showed genuine concern for the safety of my cat. I am thankful to God to have such great workers to hire when I need a job done well, ethically, and honestly.
