Wayne Taylor did the roofing on my mothers home. The roof leaked from the start. He sent a man to look at the roof from the Ground and I called him and told him, I did not think you could inspect a leaking roof from the ground. He came got up on the roof and bought me two roofing nails and said it was fixed. Six years later I am still trying to get the roof to quit leaking. I went over to Mr. Taylors home and ask him to fix my roof. He was very rude and I told him if he could not fix it I would have to take him to court. He told me he was not going to do a d*** thing for me. I could shove it.

First of all, the first thing I did when I noticed the roof was leaking was that I called my insurance company. The agent who came to look at the roof said that the leak wasn't nature related, and was in fact the result of an improper install. It took me some time, but after a week or so the original home owner was able to get in touch with me and told me that Taylor Roofing installed it in either 2007 or 2008. They also said that the roof was under a 10 year warranty. The first time I called Taylor Roofing I spoke to the owner's wife, I told her my problem and mentioned that my insurance provider looked at the house and determined the leak was due to an improper install. She literally laughed at me and told me that her husband wouldn't install a roof incorrectly. She then told me that I should call back at a later date because they were booked. I called every other day for nearly two weeks and was unable to even get an answer. During this time the heavy rains had done a lot of damage to the ceiling in my home. Which was now falling down in chunks in the affected room.We had to close the room off and stick a child's swimming pool in the room to prevent more damage from occurring. At some point during this time, I wrote a google review for the company giving them a poor review for anyone searching them. When I finally was able to get an answer from the company, I spoke to the owner himself and told him of my problem. He finally agreed to come out and take a look and was there the next day. The owner commented on remembering the house and not being able to figure out how to do the junction in question. He added a spare piece of metal to the roof and said it would fix it. And it seemed ok for the remainder of the year while the rains were tapering off. However, early this year during the heavy rains in March and April the roof began leaking again. During the few months between the two leaks I had spent thousands of dollars fixing the walls, ceiling, and floor in this room. We were nearly finished when water began leaking again. I immediately called Taylor Roofing again and experienced many of the same issues before. I left several messages over several days and never got a call back. At one point I finally called from a number that wasn't one of my own and his wife answered with the usual "Taylor Roofing, what can I do for you?" When I told her my name and information and explained that they had repaired my roof last year but it began leaking in the same spot she told me her husband was away and wouldn't be back for a week or so due to personal reasons. I checked the weather forcast and saw we weren't supposed to have any heavy rain during this time and waited it out. When I called back a week later the owner answered the phone and I explained my problem to him. His first question was something along the lines of "are you the guy who wrote about me on the internet?" Having forgot I published that review on google last year, I told him no that I don't believe so. He then agreed to come out the next day and take another look at my roof. I erased the google review and gave a positive review in hopes it wouldn't affect the work. And planned on apologizing for it and explaining that I had written it during the weeks I couldn't get in touch with them during the first leak. However, nobody from the company ever came out to my house on the day they said they would. And since then I've made multiple calls and left multiple messages attempting to get in touch with them. I've even used two numbers that weren't mine and still only got voice mail. In closing, this company is one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They took two hundred dollars for me and failed to deliver on their promise and when confronted about their shoddy work they refuse to even acknowledge it and hide from it. Their unwillingness to answer their phones initially even cost me several thousand dollars in damages that I'll never have back. I employ everyone reading this review to move on and do not consider this company, you will definitely regret it.

They repaired my roof. They removed old rotting wood and replaced with new wood and shingles. I was having leaking issues on the part of the roof he did the repairs. It was almost impossible to get in touch with him and he is refusing to take a look at the leak.
Description of Work: I hired him to repair parts of my roof.
