We were very pleased with the services provided by Larry. We found him on Angie's list after we had lined someone else up and had some concerns about them during the scheduling process. After reading the reviews and speaking with Larry, we canceled the other firm and hired Larry. He showed up on time and got started right away taking over three hours to inspect every inch of the house, including the roof, which some inspectors won't do. He answered every question we had during and after the inspection, including follow up texts and phone calls, which he always promptly responded. With the report in hand, we realized that there were a lot of electrical and fire/safety issues. We separated out non safety items and took the very long list of safety repairs to our Realtor to present to the seller's agent requesting they make the needed repairs. They agreed and even reimbursed us $100 to have Larry back out after to check the work done before closing. Although the home is about 40 years old, it had been renovated and was very clean and tidy. It appeared to be in very good condition. We are very grateful for Larry and the effort he took to inspect our home, as this allowed us to make sure the home was safe for our family. For the other repairs needed, some are cosmetic, some are minor that we can handle and the few that are not, we can hire a contractor to do the work. But we know what the issues are and were able to move forward with the purchase. We have now hired him to inspect our current home that we listed last week. We would rather know if there are issues now that several weeks into escrow. I recommend him highly.

He was there on time and the price was true to his quote. He made himself available the day before the fourth of July and finished the report the day of the fourth. The report was in pdf format and available on his website. I'm very satisfied and would use him again in the future!

Larry was EXTREMELY thorough on his inspection and provided us with insight on items that we would've missed. Here I thought the house was perfect and much to my surprise he pointed out electrical and roofing issues that we are now able to negotiate in to our deal. He also pointed out needed duct work that would have cost us tremendous amount in utilities. He gets an absolute A in our book and we are glad we used his company.

Larry was quite friendly and professional. At the end of the inspection, he went over all the items of concern with me and then gave me a business card with the website on it so I could download his report the next morning.

Larry and his son arrived for the inspection right on time, despite the poor weather we were having that day. They were very thorough, professional, and polite. They provided good explanations about what they found during the inspection. The detailed, clearly written report was available very, very soon after the inspection, which provided us more than enough time to go through it with each other and with our realtor. I will absolutely call these guys again for future home inspections.

I called Larry on a Thursday to schedule a home inspection and he was able to schedule the inspection the very next day. This worked out great for my schedule and was much appreciated. He was very thorough and answered all my questions on issues that I wasn't familiar with. He provided a well written report that was ready the next morning (Saturday morning, I might add) for my review.

Provider was extremely thorough, giving detailed report, including pictures, of all deficiencies and suggestions for correcting. He and his son worked well together as a team, and both were very cordial and glad to provide us with feedback after the inspection was complete. The detailed report was available online by the next morning after the inspection. Would definitely recommend Alatech Home Inspection Service if you want to find hidden problems with a house before buying...I believe they will find any problem that exists, if it is within the scope of their inspection services.

Mr. Brooks did an outstanding job of thoroughly inspecting our potential home. He has a very friendly attitude which both my wife and I enjoyed while we asked him a ton of questions being that this could be our first home. He was very knowledgeable and even offered suggestions on what we could do to fix minor issues. Overall, we were very impressed and will use Alatech again for any future home inspections.

Mr. Brooks arrived on time and was a very pleasant individual. He took his time and answered any questions I had during the inspection. The house I am planning to purchase is an older brick home. He seemed to be quite thorough. He checked the roof, the heat pump, the crawl space, the outside of the house and carport, and inside the house. He checked as much as he safely could of the attic from a ladder as there was no flooring to get up into the attic. Even then he found some issues he could see from the ladder into the attic. He checked the plumbing, wiring, insulation, windows, plugs, etc. And he took pictures of problems he encountered during the inspection. Although an outbuilding was not included in the original quoted cost of the inspection, I asked Mr. Brooks to take a quick look at the storage building that would be left if I wanted it. Just to see if it was really worth keeping. I offered more than once to pay Mr. Brooks extra for looking at it, but he declined. This was very kind of him as it took up more of his time than planned. His report was on his website early the next morning as promised and was even more thorough than everything we had discussed while he was at the house. There are plumbing and wiring repairs that need to be made which I will have to talk to the current owner about before completing the sale. I would not hesitate to use him again and would recommend him highly to anyone needing a Home Inspector.

We are buying our first home and were in need of an inspection to be done as soon as possible. After reading the reviews I called Larry and he was able to fit us into his busy schedule. We were impressed with Larry. He took his time and inspected everything thoroughly. After the inspection he went over the problems and concerns that he wanted us to be aware of. He provided us with a detailed report and photos of problems he found in less than 24 hours. We recommend Alatech Home Inspection and would definitely use him again.

Inspection noted problems in master bath shower that was unknown prior to to inspection. Inspection also identified a coup,e other minor home problems. Overall the inspection went well.

Very punctual- he was there and had gotten started when I arrived 3 minutes late. I feel like he was extremely thorough and documented everything with clear photos. He not only caught all the repairs that needed to be made, but made suggestions for improvements. He didn't mind me tagging along and asking questions almost the whole time. The report was available promptly, and very detailed. I feel very confident in his assessment.

I was very impressed with Larry. He showed up early and took his time. He tested everything from outlets to jets in the tub. He let me follow him around and showed me areas of concern. He even spotted some dirt marks on the carpets that were actually signs of bigger issue. He is the Matlock of home inspectors!! He was very personal and even told a few entertaining stories. We will definitely be using Larry again and would recommend him to anyone!!
