Rock Solid Services Inc.

We've been using Rock Solid Services for about 4 years now to do our mowing, edging, and lawn maintenance. They mulch instead of bagging, and helped us with a lawn care plan that uses inexpensive fertilizers, aerating, and mulching to maintain a great looking lawn without using too many chemicals. They do a great job, and will work with our schedule if we are having a party or other event so everything looks great when the guests arrive. They have also removed trees and given me some great advice on caring for some of my favorite trees like ginkgos, large water oaks and Japanese maples. I'm very satisfied with their work.

We originally hired Rock Solid Services to remove a tree that was leaning over our house following a series of tornados. They did a very good job, so we have continued to use them on an ongoing basis for yard maintenance.

It is a small bonafide business, not a big one. I am planning to use him probably this week. We get wind storms down here that blow trees down. He is my go-to-guy first if I can. He doesn't have a bucket truck and so he has to climb up the trees. He has 24 years of experience and is licensed and insured. The last time he charged me $1700 and the other company asked me for $3500. He is good, dependable and he does what he is supposed to do.

The tree was cut at the base and pulled away from power lines and the house. The tree landed exactly when and where it was supposed to. Our city hauls trees and brush away. Rock Solid cut the tree into sections and put it next to the street. They would have hauled it away if needed for an additional fee. Others in our neighborhood had trees cut after the storms. I felt like Rock Solid's price was fair, clean up was well done, and the crew very skilled. The owner of the company, Jason Bishop, was on site and part of the crew.
