Magnolia Hills Landscape

I called twice and left messages both times but never got a return call.

Hutch is the main guy at Magnolia. He did an excellent job at diagnosing our drainage problems. He gave us the least expensive option by installing a french drain. Did it on time. Made our property look really good and neat when he left. Would definite use him again.

My landscape was tired and overgrown. Steve provided a prompt and positive response (unlike the other 4 landscapers I contacted). He listened to me and gave me some great ideas at the initial consultation. He was professional and personable, and I really felt like he a) knew what he was talking about and b) loved what he does. I met his son who does the mowing, and the crew who did the work. They arrived when they said they would and the owner was there, making sure everything got done. He gave me lots of good advice about caring for the plants. I'm sure this was to them a small job, but I felt it was the most important thing they had to do on the day. Everything looks great! I couldn't be more pleased - the price was more than reasonable for everything they did: trimmed the trees, transplanted plants, gave the yard some life and now the house has lots of curb appeal. It took less than two days. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and will definitely contact them again. Two thumbs up!

they came out promptly and gave me an estimate and then they did the work within the promised time frame. Also they were very neat and did an excellent job of cleaning up aterwards.

It really looks great back there now. He has been so great during the entire process. He has even come back and adjusted some things, just to make sure it would last for me. He's also sodded the backyard for me, and added some hydrangeas and azaleas to make it look picturesque for such a small space. Previously, my backyard had been inaccessible, but now I can get back there more easily, and it looks beautiful.

MH was punctual for pre-job meetings and walkdowns, they began work when they said they would and they finished almost a day ahead of the original finish date. Their pricing was more than I planned to spend, but we are very satisfied with the end product. In truth, however, the end pricing was less than the original estimate as the sprinkler work and contingency repairs were not as much as originally estimated. This is the kind of organization that is a pleasure to work with. Contractors have a poor reputation with punctuality and meeting schedules and Magnolia Hills was very professional, quite in contrast to the general reputation of contractors. The post job cleanup was acceptable. The remaining grass was a little trampled and dirty, but good rainfall and one or two cuttings and this will not be noticed.

My front yard looks great!

They were here for about four full days, and they deserve nothing but glowing remarks. They did excellent work. Of all the bids that I got, this one was the lowest, and the work was undoubtedly of the highest quality. He was flexible and was overall an easy person to work with.
