Jon's Tree Service

Jon's crew showed up and performed the work beyond what was agreed upon. The agreed upon work included hauling off one huge pile of logs/limbs/bushes that I had accumulated over several weeks of yard rehab. They had a bit of room left in their truck so they hauled off another small pile that I had accumulated off to the side. Hauling all of this off myself in truck and trailer would have taken at least a couple of days and multiple trips to the dump. I was not home when the work was performed, but my wife says that his crew was very professional. We are definitely pleased with the work that was done.

to his service. After the tree was trimmed, gutters cleaned, and payment made I discovered he did not clean out the downspouts. He said he didn't have the equipment to do so. Overall, he was very professional and I believe he would be the right guy to call for a larger job. But I feel ripped off by paying $400 for so little service. *I would use him again IF I had any storm damage of any significance.

I took advantage of an Angie's list deal to get $400 of trees service for $200. Jon contacted me promptly, and came by within a few weeks to look at the work to be done. He advised his crew could be by within a few weeks to do the work. They came within that time, and did an excellent job removing the tree and limb and clearing out the debris.

Jon's Tree Service, LLC Jon Pierce arrived around 10:05 am. He came alone in his red car and a gas operated chainsaw. As he was cutting the tree, he is standing in the tree without a ladder, the large branches were falling everywhere, on top of my house and my neighbors house, the neighbors yard, a branch landed against the neighbors window air condition, the neighbor came out to remove the branch. Two branches landed on top of my roof and broke the ceramic (Spanish) tile. I asked him to fix it, I had some extra pieces; he laid a few pieces in place, unsecured, The neighbor's roof has some damage to the top and the metal drain, he said he did not cause the damage. I know their roof and that drain is barely a year old. There were many branches in my neighbors yard; Jon, went over in the neighbors yard to get the branches and broke my fence, he did not fix it back. After he was working for about an hour, two men came with a large trailer truck; they put the branches on the trailer and they all left at 12:05 pm. I took pictures of the damages. He could have gotten more business from me and my neighbors; had he been professional. This was a bad experience.

Jon and his crew did a good job. They were conscientious and worked hard. There was an unexpected accident with the top of a dead tree falling on an old car parked in the driveway, but Jon provided his insurance sheet. They worked late and came back the next day to clean up debris.

Jon gave a reasonable quote for a big job, which involved essentially clear-cutitng a lot of overgrowth, bushes and trees, on our back property line. There was an enormous amount of material, but they cut everything out and then ground all the stumps and roots to allow us to landscape in the future. He did what he said he would do and he and his crew did a very good job. All the debris was removed and Jon was out with his rake the next day cleaning up the small stuff. They even cleaned off small branches from our roof. Jon told us he pays attention to the details, and he lived up to his word. I highly recommend Jon's Tree Service.

Came on time, stayed after dark to finish job. Cleaned up everything and hauled it away. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. I will use Jon's Tree Service again in the future.

Jon came out the following day after I had purchased a coupon being offered to Angie's List customers to provide an estimate. His price was very fair for the work being done and we agreed to proceed. He and his crew returned within a week or so and did a great job. They initially missed a stump that was to be included in the price (this was an existing stump, not from one of the trees they cut down), but Jon was very apologetic and they returned to take care of the remaining item. I will definitely be using Jon's Tree Service again for any future needs. Thanks Jon!

Jon was great from start to finish. He came out when he said, gavel an estate that was exactly the estimate once Jon was complete. He was timely professional reasonably priced. I would definitely recomend his services.

Jon called to set up an estimate. He arrived on time, and gave me an estimate that actually surprised me at how low it was for what he was doing. I had purchased a coupon for $99 for $200 worth of work and sort of expected him to just charge me more in the long run. He did not. I had three main trees with some large tree size limbs hanging over the house. There were several other smaller limbs that could cause damage as well. He gave me a quote of 850.00 for the whole thing including grinding a stump. He also agreed to cut a limb on another tree that threatened to fall on any car in my driveway and ended up grinding a second stump at no extra charge. Jon arrived on time, with help and did an excellent job. He had all the debris hauled off and left the area clean of all but sawdust, and that was just on the ground so no big deal. He was very pleasant and has a great personality. He was extremely professional and had a typed invoice ready for me to sign upon completion of the work. I liked the job he did so well, I tipped him $50.00. I would ask Jon back to work for me anytime I needed something done in his area of expertise.

I was out of town and there was a storm which brought down one of my trees. He responded quickly and came out quickly and took care of it.

I felt he gave me a fair estimate and he stuck to the estimate although the work probably took longer than he anticipated. He and his helper cleaned up area and I am pleased with their work. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I called Jon for an estimate to remove three Leland Cypress trees from my front yard. The trees had grown taller than I expected and was told they were going to grow taller. Jon was at my house in two hours. I knew what I was going to pay and he said $200.00 per tree. That was the magic number. No hassling, that was the price I was going to pay and he said just that. Now you can see my house and my neighbors are very happy also. Trees were carried away,stumps remove and all debris carried away. My family and I are very pleased with the job and the new look our property has. I would recommend Jon and his tree service to everyone. I think he had advertised a senior discount. I thought the price was fair, so I didn't even ask for the discount. You can not tell that their was ever a tree there, that's how clean his clean up was.

No problem, Jon and his crew came in did there job without incident, throughly cleaned the premises, a day passed; Jon and I arranged a time to meet, and inspect the work completed, we settled our bill, shook hands and parted ways.

Called Jon up and immediately answered call. They had special going with $99 for $200 worth of work. He advised busy due to lot of work but would call to give me time to come out for estimate. The next day he called and came by and gave estimate which was reasonable. He advise would probably be able to get to me the next week. He called me the next day instead and advised me he had a cancelation and could start the work today. He came that day and completed all work except cleanup and remove stump. The next day he came back and all work completed.

They came out on time, went right to work. They were quick, cleaned up after themselves. other than the stumps on the tree where the branches had been cut you would not have know any work was done as they cleaned up very well after. I have another tree that I need removing, they will come back at another time to do this. ( when I am ready) I was very happy with there work.

Jon's Tree Service is great. After I called Jon was at my home within an hour to take a look at the tree and give me the estimate. I had two other companies come out to give me quotes as well and Jon's price came in over $150 less than the other two quotes. Within a week the tree was gone, and Jon came by personally to make sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction before collecting payment. Everyone that works for Jon is friendly, professional, and efficient. The work was done quickly, the mess was cleaned up as discussed, and there were no surprises on price. I highly recommend Jon's Tree Service for your tree servicing needs.
