They were wonderful! Showed up early & worked all day. They cleaned up their work areas and didn't leave any additional mess for us. He also helped me remove the stump of a bush we were struggling with. ;)

I am an Angies List member and found this company on Angies list and called to get an appointment to have an estimate done for either repairing or replacing my privacy fence.. The man sounded angry and really didn't want to take my information to come and give an estimate. My home is not very far from his business, but he just kept saying : "We're booked up for three weeks if you are in a hurry !" I told him I'm not in a hurry, just would like an appointment for him to come and give an estimate.He just kept saying, i"You will have to call back some time later !" I said, okay then I'm not in a hurry for the job to be done, just want an estimate.If you don't want the business I'll call someone else. He said "Okay then ".

rew had all Jand K Fencing removed old wood fencing in the front of my house and replaced it with new, much more attractive fencing. They also installed chain link fence around the back yard. My yard is extremely rocky and uneven and overall not an easy area to work with for fencing. Kevin and his crew had all the necessary equipment to do the job and understood how to work in that environment. They completed the job on time, on budget and the final results look great. They kept me informed and handled the process in a totally professional manner. Highly recommended

the old fence was removed very quickly and neatly hauled away. He even volunteered. to haul off some rubbish I had in my yard at no charge.

He was prompt in coming out and providing an estimate. Two of the gates had been problems for several years. They didn't close properly, and our two dogs frequently got out. Other repair agencies had attempted to fix the gates without success. I had virtually given up and had resorted to stacking cinder blocks in front of the gates, which of course had to be un-stacked and re-stacked every time the gates were opened. Jand K reset the anchor posts and installed new gates. They now close easily and the dogs can't get out. He was pleasant and professional. The price was significantly less than I had expected. I strongly recommend calling Jand K if you have a fence problem or desire to add fencing.

Kevin Giles came to our house to give us an estimate on Labor Day. I had contacted him by phone a day or two earlier to request an estimate. I didn't expect for him to come out until later in that week. Even though it was a holiday he was working and called to see if it was convenient for him to stop by. We discussed what we wanted, he looked around the yard and gave us some suggestions (things we hadn't thought about but really were better choices - and it brought our price down). Mr. Giles did tell us that he was very booked and wouldn't be able to start until October and it would be dependent on weather. Once October arrived my husband contacted Mr. Giles to get an estimate on the start date. The week of October 20th was the estimate. I was pleased when Mr. Giles called me on Oct. 16th and said they could start by putting the posts in the following day. The entire job was completed in two days. The fence was built on site with individual pieces of lumber. I thought they might use pre-made panels. Overall a great experience and product. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have a fence installed.

Overall our experience with Kevin from Jand K was very positive. He gave us a free estimate, it sounded fair to us, and we gave him the go-ahead. He took care of the permits with the city and got to work the next week. We had a storm come through that Monday, causing damage to a different section of fence in our yard. Kevin was able to remove the old fence (that was covered with very stubborn ivy), pour concrete for the posts, build the new fence, and patch our damaged fence by the end of the day Thursday. Kevin did not have to patch the damaged fence, he did it because he knew we were anxious to let our new dog run around in our yard - we really appreciated his thoughtfulness. He will be coming back this week to remove and replace the damaged fence and I would call him again for any other fencing needs. Kevin does fencing for animal enclosures at the Bham Zoo, so I am confident that his work will be able to contain our one dog in the yard!

I called Jand K fencing about installing a fence in my back yard. We needed a fence on a retainer wall that had a pretty far drop. This has always been a concern since we purchased the house a year prior. They came out once to check and see what I was talking about then gave me a quote soon thereafter and began work the following week if I remember correctly. They recommended and install a nice black steel fence with gate access. They did a solid job and the fence looks great. They even cut down some sticker bushes that were in the way and hauled it into the street for me. I was injured at the time and couldn't do it myself. They're really nice and I would recommend them to anyone.

Kevin was professional, courteous and did a good job on my fence. He did the job for the estimated price, and worked with me to get the price down a bit when the original estimate was just above my budget. I would give him all A's, except he was unable to show up on 5/28 as scheduled (granted, it was Memorial Day) because his helpers had called in sick. Otherwise, this was a good transaction and I would recommend his services.

We had an overall very good experience with J and K Fencing. Kevin and his helper arrived as scheduled and on time. He explained what he would do and began the work. During installation, a sprinkler line was pierced by their equipment. Kevin immediately made a trip to the hardware store to purchase the supplies to repair the damage. We have had no problems with the sprinkler system since the damage and repair. During installation, I noticed an area where I thought the fence was too high to keep my small dogs contained, so they immediately repositioned those pickets to my satisfaction. Hours after they left, one of my dogs did escape the yard between two pickets that were slightly wider apart than the others, and I called Kevin. He and his helper came back early the next morning and repositioned that section of pickets. They were very responsive to my requests in a very pleasant manner. My dogs have not escaped since that repositioning was done. During the recent storms and winds in our neighborhood, fences of neighbors on both sides of us were blown over, and yet ours sustained no damage. I believe it was because it was installed very, very well. I would recommend J and K Fencing for price, service and quality of product.
