I hired VanGieson Home Repair initially to do some work on the exterior of my home: soffit replacement and repair. Mr. VanGieson (Steve) contacted me almost immediately when I registered with HomeAdvisors and was available to come out and give me an estimate for the work at my convenience. He showed up when he said he would and gave me a detailed estimate and proposal of his work on the spot. After receiving a number of other estimates, I decided to schedule the work to be done by VanGieson Home Repair. After getting up on the roof of my house, it was determined that I also needed a new roof. At this point, I got my insurance company involved and, again, Steve was able to come out to the house with extremely short notice to meet with the claims adjustor. Steve was very involved in the entire process by communicating with my insurance and trying to get me a fair settlement from them to do the work that was needed. His help made the expected frustrating back and forth with the insurance company more bearable. When the roof replacement was scheduled, Steve's crew again came when they said they would and were able to do the job in one long day. There was a snafu with a satellite on my house, but Steve and his son, who supervised the job, were extremely responsive to my concerns and did what was necessary to resolve the situation quickly and completely to my satisfaction. In short, I would not hesitate for one moment to recommend VanGieson Home Repair. I am pleased with each aspect of the project that was done.
