Choice Waterproofing

Wayne Taylor is the owner of the business.He was shown areas in our basement and garage that had been leaking. When he came out he did the area in the garage. I asked him why he wasnt doing the basement, he said he was never shown the basement. I was with my builder when he showed Mr. Taylor the basement. Why would I have him waterproof the garage before my living area? Mr. Taylor said he would put on a waterproofing product that my builder wanted him to use. That was one of the reasons he was hired! The product he used was not the product my builder wanted him to use, but something you could buy from Lowes or Home Depot, which is less effective. He even used my rollers and paint brushes without mt permission!!! When I questioned him about the basement he said he never saw the basement. However, he was there - I remember walking him through my basement with my builder, showing him the places that needed to be done. He did no work at all, he had another guy paint the 12 feet of the wall inside the garage.They charged my builder $1500 for 12 feet of waterproofing, using UGL instead of Terraproofing. Mr Taylor gave my builder a quote for doing the basement &garage, but only did the garage. My builder and I both called him about the leaking that was still occurring and he did not call either of us back. Mr Taylor lied to me & my builder, never finished the job or returned any phone calls. I will never use or recommend "Choice Waterproofing". The owner is a very dishonest person.
