Description of Work: Installed outside bedroom door and re-installed outside dining room door. Wes has been very busy and someone installed it to be nice. They messed up the installation and Wes had to take it out and reinstall.

+ -1 moreIt went pretty well with Works In Wood Custom Finish Carpentry. I was a little irritated with a couple of things he did but the deck looked nice after it was done. He bought a dog to the site which I didn't appreciate. We have a cat and the dog chased our cat. Then he just didn't clean up after himself, he left a bunch of stuff all over our lawn. Other than that, his work was good and reasonable; it was half the price of what we could have paid elsewhere. I will recommend them because of their reasonable price.
Description of Work: He replaced our deck.

+ -1 moreThe job was started on time and the bed was delivered on the date promised. However, I wasn't able to lift the top and use the storage space underneath. It took several tries to get the correct hardward to lift the top of the bed. He did keep on it unitl he got it right and that says a lot in his favor as far as I am concerned. Yes, I would use him again. Make sure he understands your design and follows it.
Description of Work: I contacted Works in Wood about building a bed for based on beds in RV's that lift up for storage beneath. I drew out an example of how they are made for him. He totaly redesigned it and to took several trips after he delivered the bed to get it to operate correctly. The bed did turn out to be beautiful and after all I am satisfied with it. The only problem that I may have in using him again is to get him to listen and understand a design that I may want. He was prompt, courteous did in the end made it work ok.

+ 0 moreWes came to our home on a short notice and was very knowledgable of the services we needed. Wes was able to work us in his schedule on short notice and was very professional with his estimate, his work, and his work ethic. Wes left our finished project clean and had cleaned up the construction debris - very professionally done. Wes was very aware he was in our home and treated our home with the respect one expects from a contractor. I will definitely call Works In Wood again.
Description of Work: Wes removed and reinstalled our kitchen subfloor, removed a wall, and installed a pony wall for our kitchen.
