We needed an exhaust modification to be done to a new vehicle So I call up sam and he walked me through the options we can do for the sound I wanted. And it came out great. Every weld was a perfect one. Got the job done under an hour. Will definitely recomend him for any welding jobs you might need done.

He's a very good contractor. I thought it was a little pricy, but on second thought, it was short notice before a reinspection, and he was actually the only contractor who had time to do the job in time. Bottom line, I guess, if you want a good price, you need to plan ahead and get more than one bid. He took a lot of stuff to the dump, too, and bought a couple of sheets of paneling. I'm giving him an 'A.'
Description of Work: Removed a wooden floor in small room in basement and the lower portion of wall that the buyer wanted to remove to assess for water damage. Replaced and removed some paneling.

I had my Alaska housing energy inspection and the inspector said I needed to insulate and properly cover the crawl space. I am a DIY kinda guy so I bought everything I thought I would need, but I just didn't really enjoy being down there hunched over and crawling around, dealing with insulation and everything else under there. A friend recommended Sam as a guy he had used for this type of grunt work so after checking in my "I can do it myself" man card, I called Sam. He gave me some great ideas that were probably a bit too much for what the inspector wanted so after getting clearer instructions from the inspector, I gave Sam basic instructions based on what the inspector said. All I needed to do was pass the inspection nothing more. Just cover the dirt with 6 mil plastic sealed to the bottom of the crawlspace wall. Then hang R-38 fiberglass batts along the crawlspace walls from top to bottom then roll out R-30 fiberglass along the floor. I took off with the family so he could work without my kids playing around in that nice fluffy fiberglass. When I got home the next day the first thing I was surprised to see there was no indication he was even there, no trash, no mess, everything looked like it was when I left minus the fiberglass insulation stacked in my garage. So down to the crawlspace... Wow... he definitely exceeded my expectations, not only was the job done exactly as I had envisioned, but he also taped each fiberglass batt to the one next to it, so it looks really nice and complete, definitely much better than I would have done myself. I was not expecting that since I did not even supply or mention taping. The next week I had my furnace replaced and they had to go down into the crawl space to route some drain tubing for the new furnace. When the guy went down he was amazed at what he saw and had his partner stop what he was doing to come check it out. Both were surprised and said they had never seen such a well done job of sealing and insulating a crawlspace. The guy who said that works for works Moore Heating, he also has the same last name. Anyways, if you are considering this kind of work and want another opinion of the work that was done I am sure he would confirm what he saw. I wish there was a way to attach a picture to this review. I would 100% recommend Sam to a close friend as a trustworthy individual who is capable of performing any task you put in front of him.
