Rock Solid Plumbing & Heating

I’d like to thank Rock Solid Plumbing & Heating for responding to a heating emergency at Rocky Lake just before the new year. They came out the same day, were able to find the needed part within a day, and had everything fixed by the third day. They were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I’m grateful that no pipes froze, and they sleuthed out what caused the issue and fixed that, too!

It went smoothly and relatively quickly. An easy interaction. My heat went awry over the holiday weekend and I was referred to them by both a neighbor and other company that was unable to help. They immediately scheduled me, thanks Kelli, and Brent, the repairman, arrived promptly and went to work. He explained things as he went along and answered my questions easily and thoroughly. Heck, even my dog liked him. Ha Unfortunately, a part had to be ordered but Eric was on it immediately and able to arrange delivery that same evening, then Brent arrived EARLY to install it and get me going 100% again. Kudos to all and I will definitely used them again as needed.

The plumber Somehow missed the major leak from my pipes I extensively explained with the person scheduling the appointment. The technician was not passed the info so apparently the slight condensation from the exhaust pipe needed silicone but not the pipes dripping constant water. $282.10 later no hot water, no idea when Ill have hot water going into the weekend, since the initial visit was on a Friday, and no return call from the message I left Saturday until end of the day Monday after leaving a second unsatisfied message. Guess cold showers aren't urgent enough to get back to somebody. Judging by the two invoice emails I got the same Friday of the service their payment sure was. I turned down their offer to send somebody Monday night to fix the now worsening leak because I have no confidence going forward I would get the right things worked on and the Bill for just "going through my system" and putting silicone on an exhaust pipe that's hardly a problem costed $282.10. Now I need to find another plumber and I'm out almost $300 with nothing to show for it!

The whole team at Rock Solid do an amazing job for us when our furnace quit working in the middle of a very cold week this spring. They were very prompt to come out and diagnose the problems we were having and got us a quote for a new furnace quickly and had us scheduled for the replacement in a timely manner. David and Jason came out and installed the new furnace and they did an amazing job! Overall we had a great experience with Rock Solid and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

Horrible They were too busy to be professional. They were offended with my complaints. The owner of the company would never call me back. I paid about 20,000.00 on my project. I will never recommend them. And the owner has a bad attitude

Great no problems

They did a great job and were timely - cost was higher than we anticipated, but we realize that they had a longer drive than a typical outfit from Eagle River or Anchorage. We'd hire them again!

The plumbers showed up right on time. Very professional and courteous. Work was done exceptionally well and exactly as I had requested. Definitely a top notch company. Hard to find these days, especially in Alaska.

Not only was the price very good, but the company is easy to deal with, their service tech was punctual and kept open communication with me. There are a lot of choices in the Valley for these kinds of services, and Rock Solid is an up and comer in the game. Give them a chance on your next Plumbing or Heating service need. I will be going back to them in the future for planned upgrades and service.

Had called around to a dozen local shops because my water heater went out and I needed a replacement. Rock Solid plumbing came with a bid that matched the closest competitor, but it was with a much better and more efficient water heater. The owner brought by a few informational guides and explained the benefits of one model versus the other, and once we had decided on using Rock Solid Plumbing, they were there within the week and had plumbed everything neatly two days ahead of schedule. Can't recommend these guys enough.

It went great. Chris showed up and told me that the part I thought was broken was actually just disconnected. He reconnected it and was finished in a matter of minutes. Fantastic service.

Chris was very punctual and professional. He got all of the water lines in without a problem. Compared to plumbers I've used in the past, Chris was an absolute joy. I will be using Rock Solid Plumbing & Heating in future and will highly recommend them to my friends and family.

The replacing of our boiler went great. Chris was very courteous to me and my wife. Any questions that we asked him, he politely answered. He never seemed like he ran into trouble and you could tell that he knew what he was doing every step of the way. He even disposed of our old boiler, which I wasn't expecting him to do, so that's a plus! I have recommended Rock Solid to my friends and will continue to do so. Wonderful and professional service all the way.
