Description of Work: I needed to fence in my backyard for my dogs so I called Quality Fencing. The owner came by on 05/11/2011 and gave us an estimate, which was reasonable and he was very plesant at that time. He stated he would start the work in two weeks and I gave him a $2500 down payment. Two weeks went by and had not heard a word, I called and he stated that it would be another two weeks, not happy with his answer, I decided to wait another two weeks. Two weeks passed and not a phone call, I always had to call him. I called him again and he blammed his supplier and that it would be another two weeks. This is when I said no and to please give me my deposit back. My wife called him back two days later to inquire about our deposit and he said that we will get it when we get it. My wife asked if we could see a copy of an invoice that showed that he even ordered the supplies from his supplier and he couldn't produce one and he hung up on my wife. I called him back and asked for the same information and got the same answer. We are probably going to have to resort to small claims court to get our deposit back because his answer was not to reassuring. I would not recommend this company to anyone, very unprofessional and unreliable.

 + -1 moreCompany came out August 15 and gave us an estimate. Told us he would start the job Sept 2nd. The 2nd came and went with no phone call. I called them on the 4th and left message did not receive a call back till the 10th. He stated that they were out of town doing a job and would not be back for 2 weeks. But my job would be the 1st one they started when they got back. On the 16th I called them to find out when they would be coming and was told that they would be there the next day. No one showed on the 18th, I called again and was told that their digger was broke. The son apologized and said he was so sorry that this was so unprofessional and that he would give me a discount if I let them continue with the job so the price went down to $8000. I told him as long as he was here to do the job in 2 days we would go ahead with the fence. They showed up on the 20th and put the post in and cemented them. They told us they would be back in 2 days to finish. They showed up a week later. THey finally finised today. When I was presented with the bill, I reminded the son of the discount conversation and was told I never said that! This was the most unprofessional, rude company I had ever dealt with.
Description of Work: Approximately 430 feet of 6' cedar fencing was installed with one 12' driveway gate and a 6' walk gate.
