+ -1 moreCraig did a wonderful job on my project. He helped me design and choose the correct heating systems and the layout for the piping. He even helped me navigate the confusing process of working with Enstar to get the gas hooked up and turned on. He pulled out my old oil boiler and even though there was a minor incident where some fuel spilled out of the line accidentally, he and his assistant clean up everything really good. I was impressed by his good attitude, his professional work, and his timeliness. I would not hesitate to recommend Craig at Paragon Mechanical to anyone.
Description of Work: Installed new natural gas piping, natural gas boiler, added a new zone, and a new hydronic garage heater, and hooked up a natural gas dryer.

Description of Work: Craig did not work on my job because my plans and time deadlines changed several times. As a result, he was unwilling to change his prior obligations to long time customers. Its a good thing, because here we are, three weeks later and my plans are still mostly up in the air. Craig fulfilled everything he could and even referred me to another well - respected company, Wheeler Mechanical, who did an excellent job.

+ -1 moreI will admit that he was able to come the next day and that he did repair the leak. The big complaint was that he really dragged his feet. It seemed very much that he was trying to take as much time as possible to do the repair to stretch the time out for more pay. He wanted to remove the entire toilet - we talked him into just removing the tank, then told him we would put the tank back on ourselves. Perhaps he wasn't being intentionally slow, but it certainly came across that way. We will choose a different plumber next time.
Description of Work: We had water leaking into a lower bedroom from the upstairs. While we knew the general area of the leak we needed someone to pin down the exact problem and fix it. It turned out to be a T connection between the kitchen and the bathroom, and he did make the repair successfully.

+ -1 moreI being a California girl had no idea what boilers actually entailed, but we have this guy who does it for us and he is very good about getting out here whenever we need him. He is very good. He definitely knows boilers. Not all houses have boilers up here and he is great with boiler systems. If you are without heat and you want somebody who is going to be there as soon as possible, then he is the man.
Description of Work: Paragon Mechanical repaired our boiler in November. He took the water out of our boiler and he opened the vents to get the air going through so that the water would dry up. He put the insulation on it. The pipe actually was frozen and he got it sawed out. The pipe broke up right in the living room and split right in the middle, but he got it all cleaned up.
