+ -1 moreFlawless, no hassle to me at all. Bonnie called to say Ken would be dropping off the heavy equipment the next day and he did. They said he would start the day after and he did. Ken walked the site with me, asked a lot of questions and looked at pictures of what I wanted. Then he and his son spent the next three days cutting into the slope, placing big rocks for a fireplace base, grading the patio in preparation for future paving. Putting down 3"of sand there, and grading the curved driveway/path up the hill to the patio. The rocks were on my land, so I saved some money there. He is really an expert at moving the rocks. One was 4' in diameter and 15' from the house. He maneuvered that big claw bucket like it was a ballet dance.
Description of Work: 3rd year I've had work done by Ken and his son. They did more than i asked, left a neat site when they were done. Worked every day until the job was done, gave me a nice discount for repeat customer, and threw in a load of topsoil they had an excess of. spent extra time to get a big rock placed just how I wanted it. They figured out how to get equipment to a tricky spot on my sloped lot. Ken has decades of experience and it shows in his work. His wife, Bonnie, is a pro at scheduling and keeping me informed, while making me feel like I'm just talking to a neighbor. They're a great family business, in Alaska for many years.

Description of Work: Ken and his wife, Bonnie, have an old-school work ethic which means they have pride in their work, maintain a good reputation, make good (and competitive) estimates, and add extras if they think it will make a good improvement. Kens suggestions have saved me money and made my projects better than my original plan. I can't speak highly enough for their integrity and workmanship.
