Clear View Window Cleaning

Really bad- no show, no explanation.. We had Clear View clean our windows several times in past years and were always satisfied with the quality and price of their work. This year I called several time and left a message that I wanted to schedule a cleaning. Finally after several weeks they returned my calls and set up an appointment date and time. They did not show up at the time scheduled. I called the twice that day to find out if they were still planning on coming and they never returned my calls. It is now over 2 weeks after their no show and I called several more times hoping to get an explanation. Again they never returned my calls. After my positive experiences with them in the past I was really surprised. Something has changed for the worse with them and I would never waste my time with then again

11/16/17 Although I cannot rate a job that was not done, nor the price or quality, apparently I cannot submit a review without filing in a score for all the areas. So be advised that I have no idea what the price would have been or the quality of the work. However, I can accurately rate the punctuality and professionalism categories. I made an appointment with this company either in late September or early October, and the November 15th date was the first opening. That was a long way off, but I figured then I'd have clean windows for Thanksgiving. Over the phone, when I asked when the estimate would be, the very professional-sounding male said they would arrive between 11:30-12:00 on the 15th and give me an estimate. If I agreed to the price, the cleaning would take place immediately. The day before our scheduled window cleaning, my husband and I made sure all windows were free of any furniture and even moved a weight machine plus unlocked the backyard gate and moved a light gazebo frame away from a window. Since our windows have had so much condensation on the inside lately, I took paper towels and made sure every bit of moisture was gone. I did not want the moisture to interfere with the cleaning. Then, I waited and waited. Finally, at 1:00 - and then again at 3:00 - I called and left a message reminding them of the appointment, with my address and phone number. I again called this morning (the 16th) before 10 AM and left another message saying please call, so we can reschedule the appointment, as I had already been waiting for well over a month (and all the furniture has been moved). I again left my phone number. I have never gotten a return call. We all know, sometimes things happen. It is a problem that no one showed up, but the REAL problem here is that I have NOT received a single call. For all I know, perhaps the business is no longer in business? But even if this is the case, as a customer on the books for the 15th, I should have been called. On the message I left today, I said the reason I chose them was because of their good ratings on Angie's List...I was kind of hoping that would help instigate a call on their part. Crumb, our furniture is in the middle of all the rooms, and now I have to try and find another company???? Apparently, scoring an A on Angie's List doesn't always guarantee the company will live up to those expectations. I will gladly rewrite this review if I ever hear from the company and share with your what their reasoning was for not showing up to a scheduled appointment and especially for NOT returning THREE phone calls.

Mike and Nick showed up on time, provided a quick quote to do the work and when we agreed they immediately set up ladders and started working. They were professional, personable, thorough, thoughtful, and efficient. They covered anything that might need it and also wore booties over their shoes so as not to bring in dirt on the carpets. Their price was very reasonable. We will most definitely use them again.

I called them, they made an appointment, they came. They were prompt. They were good. They put on booties so they wouldn't mess up my brand new carpet. They did a good job. I don't have to compare the price to.

Great job! The gentlemen were professional, personable, punctual and proficient. They quoted me a price, and when there was too much snow on the roof, and they were unable to clean the skylights, they reduced the price of the service to reflect the fact that they weren't able to clean the outside of the skylights. I am very impressed and happy to have had them do my windows. They are my and quot;go toand quot; guys for windows from now on!

CVWC does an excellent job. I leave them a message that I need my windows cleaned, they call me back to schedule a day, they come and clean all the windows while I'm at work, I come home to clean windows and a modest bill.

I called trying to find someone to do same-window cleaning at our office. We had a big event scheduled and wanted to be sure our office looked great. They were at our location within an hour, provided a quote that was lower than expected, and immediately got to work. The job was done beautifully and they were very professional. I would recommend them and plan to use them for our office in the future!

Excellent window cleaning/excellent price. I have used this company more than once and am very happy with their work.

All went very well. We are completely satisfied with their work and professionalism. My only drawback...they DO NOT take credit cards. This is becoming a personal pet peeve for me with local tradesmen, and it may cost them my future business.

They (there were two) came at appointed time, told me exactly how much it would cost and then set to work. The were friendly and worked steadily until the job was done. They cleaned outside and inside of the panes and they took off the window screens cleaned and replaced them. The windows sparkle! The last time I had the windows cleaned it cost $100 for the outside of the panes only. They charge $2 per outside pane and $2 per inside pane regardless of size. I will definitely use them again.

We have a very tall house with lots of hard to reach picture windows. They were on time and very un intrusive. They also cleaned the screens. They reminded me that they did our windows when we lived in Eagle River over 7 years ago. Their work was good then and still is. They are my go to guys for window cleaning.

The time spent getting the windows clean was short and they did a neat and tidy job!

After scheduling the appointment, they called to give me an approximate time of arrival. I walked them around the exterior to show them which windows I needed cleaned, and they began immediately. At one point, one of the men had to enter my house to reach a window on the upper level balcony-he used shoe covers on the carpet, removed them to walk on the balcony and reapplied them to reenter the house (thank you!!).They were completely efficient and professional. I have a prow front on my home, and cleaning the 30' front window was a challenge for me every year, so I decided to hire it out this year. I saw Clear View's ad and called them. They were very professional on the phone, and were willing to come out the next evening, when I got home from work, to do an onsite estimate. When they completed the estimate, they asked me if I wanted them to do the work now, or schedule a more convenient time. I asked how long it would take, thinking I had dinner to prepare and it would disrupt my schedule, but he told me it would be done in under an hour. The team worked quickly and with minimum fuss, even with my dog dancing around their feet at times. The windows were all clean and looking great in less than an hour and they asked me to look around and make sure I was satisfied with the job, before they put their tools away. I would say these guys are professionals who take pride in their work, and it shows.
