They have done a great job of managing my property. They are very responsive when I call them. They have made being a landlord a seamless process.

Ms. Moss and her team managed my rental property in Wasilla for five years. For that entire time, Moss kept good, clean, paying renters in my home and took good care of the property. I lived in Louisiana and could not visit the home whenever there was a problem. Moss and her team were always right on problems. They routinely scheduled maintenance and repairs and the house was well kept. When it came time to sell, the home had the same carpet and paint as it had when I left it in 2010. The rent was always paid on time.

I have employed Charlene Moss for over two years to manage my rental property in Wasilla, AK. They were recommended by a trusted friend. For the most part I have been pleased with their service. They act as though they truly care for the condition of my home. They performed credit checks on prospective renters and only allowed those that would be good for the money. I appreciated this. This service is particularly helpful because i live in Louisiana and have no way to routinely inspect my house myself. The problem I have experienced with Charlene Moss is that they are notoriously unreliable about calling back when I have a question. There have been expensive maintenance and repair issues that I simply never get any feedback on. I authorize work according to their recommendations and never know if it was completed.

I figured the call would take 5 min flat instead it took a full business day to get the answer I needed. The receptionist Maggie was the rudest receptionist I have heard in years. I worked in a credit union for 5 years and I have extensive training on proper phone call techniques. You can fake your voice if your not really a nice person in real life. I have a fake voice that's extremely professional my tone is perfect and I can sense if the person on the other end of the line got the answer they were looking for in the most professional way. I have 13 years experience in sales and customer service and 5 years in realty. I am not a relator I am a landlord. When Maggie answered the call I knew she was using her "fake" voice. She was answering the call in the rudest voice possible. She refused to help me saying I needed to fax a request for the information. It was a simple yes or no question. I would have gladly got out of Eagle River where I was camping and drove to Anchorage to my work and fax the paper but she refused to help me because I said she was being extremely rude to me. I told her I didnt have a fax or an email address (of course I do I have several but I'm not giving her my personal information unless she was pleasant with me). I wont bend over backwards to help anyone that is rude to me. The tone of voice is all it takes. Then I called back a second time and Charlene Moss answered the phone in a rude voice. She didn't even have a "fake voice". I was extremely offended I did hang up on both Maggie and Charlene Moss and I never hang up on people. I feel I was treated terribly and I wasn't even asking to rent a unit I was asking for a reference. I did have the rental application, that the court system in person told me was legal to check references off by having the applicants sign the rental application. I pulled the rental application off a landlord website. She immediately called me back and screaming in my ear saying "did you get disconnected" or did you "hang up on me". I told her I hung up on her she wanted to know why I was so stressed out by this I wasn't even a client. Well if I wanted to be a client before I would never sign up for her again. She called my tenant for approval and she got it, then she called me back a few min later saying I WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW the husband and wife were tenants of mine and they were NOT EVICTED. I said thank you and while I was apologizing to her for being rude she hung up on me. I would recommend not using this real estate company unless you want to feel like crap just for trying to ask a simple question. My tenants will be posting their opinions on her today as well.
