A frustrating waste of time

Felling of the trees was very professionally done. No damages were done to lawn or buildings on the property. Because of drainage ditch on all the street sides of our corner property, the truck and chipper could not be driven onto the yard, so there was a lot of hand-carrying of the resulting logs and branches 80 to 100 feet to curbside. There was no wasted time, and the crew was very accommodating and efficient.

This was the third company I had called to get an estimate for cutting down a large Cottonwood tree. I hadn't planned on them actually doing the work when they came over to give me the estimate, so I wasn't prepared for it. After talking to other tree removal companies, I figured it would take a week or two to schedule. There was a recent wind storm and tree removal service was in high demand. After they looked at the tree and quoted me a price, I asked when they would be able to do the work. They said they could do it right then, otherwise they didn't know when they could get back to me. So, even though I thought the price was a little high, I agreed, and quickly moved a few things out of the way while they got their tools ready. They felled the tree with precision, without hitting anything, and were pulling out of the driveway about 20 minutes after I gave them the OK to procede. And, even though I felt some pressure to "do it now, at this price, or who knows when they would be back", I am glad to have the tree down.

My experience with Timber Tree is this the way business SHOULD be done. Ed was prompt, courteous and everything was done as set forth in the estimate. The tree removed was a very large old tree that was extremely close to our house and our neighbors, which made the safe removal much more difficult. Ed had a great crew on this job and I would highly recommend this business.

It was a good price and they came out to deliver a lot of wood chips for my yard. They were friendly, helpful and I will use them again in the future.

Initially they were scheduled the day before. When no one showed by afternoon we called. He assumed his men were on the job. He inquired with his men and called us back. There had been a problem with the wood chipper, and his men did not call him. He offered to come right over to get a look. He did and offered to come the next day and they did. We had made plans to leave, He assured us that would not be a problem. They ended up coming early enough to get started before we had to leave. When we came back it was all done and the yard cleaned up.
