JON'S WOODWORKING

We contracted for our new home in October, 2012. Jon's Woodworking was recommended to us by another client and we met with Jon Deel shortly after. We worked directly with Jon and his colleagues, describing what we wanted our cabinets to look like and Jon came back with a very complete preliminary design and estimate. After some discussion Jon made some excellent suggestions for improving the design, none of which affected his original estimate. Jon coordinated carefully with our builder and came out to the home site during the interior framing phase. He laid out the cabinet placement, coordinated with the plumbing and electrical contractors and made some internal modifications to accommodate the other trades. The cabinets were delivered on site on schedule and installation was accomplished quickly and professionally. All the measurements and tolerances were absolutely perfect, allowing appliances and fixtures to be installed with precision. Every surface was finished expertly. We had selected drawer pulls from another source. It turned out that we had miscalculated the size for some of the drawers causing some of the pulls to be slightly too long. Jon alerted us and, rather than having to purchase new pulls, volunteered that he could trim the ends of the pulls to a more appropriate length. These were solid stainless steel rods. Jon was able to trim them to fit and did such an expert job of finishing the ends that no one could tell that they had been altered at all. This saved us a considerable amount of money and time. This is typical of the type of skill, craftsmanship, and service that Jon's Woodworking is known for. We are very happy that Jon's Woodworking was recommended to us and we will use them again and recommend them to others.
