 + -1 moreMy wife and I bought our first home with Rich Harter in 2010. Rich was very patient and listened to our wants and showed us houses that met our request, we never felt that we were being pushed into something that we didn't want. Two and a half years later the military is moving us so we went back to Rich to sell our house. Our house was on the market for less than a day when we received a full price offer(that we accepted). From the time we bought our home to the day we sold it Rich was extremely easy to contact with questions and answered them quickly. I recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a home. Extremely military friendly. Thanks Rich.

 + -1 moreWe know dozens of people that have used Rich Harter as their Realtor with outstanding service, We have used him in the past and will continue to use him due to the fact that Rich will do a fantastic job. Rich sold our recent home in 2 weeks on the market, He is the Best realtor to deal with trough out the whole process, He makes it smooth and relaxing. Then he found us a new home to purchase for our upgrade in less then 2 days, After telling him what it was we were looking for he hit the nail on the head and found us the perfect home. We have closed on both and would just like to let him know that we appreciate all you have done for us. This has made 3 transactions we have had with Rich and We will refer all our friends to him.  + -1 morePoorly. He is a terrible communicator. I would NEVER use Rich Harter as a Realtor and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone that cares about their home selling.
Description of Work: Rich was smooth, available and responsive BEFORE we signed with him. The moment we signed the contract, which we never received a copy of after repeated requests, he disappeared. After 2 weeks of no contact he texted us to say we had a showing. That showing cancelled but he sent a text that we didn't get until it was too late and the craziness of prepping for a showing was done. The one positive thing I will say is that our house sold in 3 weeks. Rich suggested we not counter with of our requests and the buyers got everything they requested. At every step of the process he gave the buyers what they wanted and never stood up for us, his actual clients. After many requests for the agreement we did not receive that either. We could email and call but wouldn't receive responses for days, if at all. When ever we did get a hold of him we felt we were bothering him, which we were not. We are not needy people, but we would like to know how our house inspection went or if the septic test passed. He said he would call or email when the house closed. As of today we still have not heard a word from him. Overall, Rich is a terrible communicator, a skill that is valuable in a Realtor. We didn't feel that he fought for us in the negotiations. He basically listed our house and showed up for the inspection. If you want a hands off Realtor then Rich is your guy.
