Homestead Pumping and Thawing

Driver called enroute so I could meet him at the rental house and showed up at the appointed time. He (Chris) was professional and courteous, explaining problems he saw with the septic system and offering tips on how to keep the system working properly.

They worked fast, professionally and did the job they were asked to do.

No problem scheduling an appointment. The man who came out to do the pump was both friendly and professional. We like to have Homestead do our annual (sometimes semi-annuual) septic pumping because they installed our septic system years ago.

The job went well. The only glitch was they didn't call before coming, which we requested, but they came sooner than expected, so that was good.

Great! Septic and lift station cleaned. Professional and courteous. None of the other pumpers in area even come close. C on responsiveness. If you expect a return call in a reasonable time you will be disappointed.

The pump out went really well!! The driver, not only found our house easily ( which I've been told isn't always easy! LOL), but navigated the road and driveway like a pro !! He was extremely knowledgeable, highly competent and a genuinely nice guy! He did a fantastic job and there was no mess, minimal odor and the whole process was quick and easy. He answered all my questions and gave me great information on keeping the tank and leach field " healthy ". I work with customer service, and if I were hiring, I'd hire this driver in a minute. He's one of Homesteads great assets and I hope they give him a raise ') He's worth it.

I have used this company many times to pump and steam my septic, so when it needed to be replaced I automatically called them for a bid. They were very competitive price. The work was completed very quickly and professionally. The only problem was returning my phone calls, I had to call several times for a bid and to find out when the work was going to be started. How ever I am very happy with the service provided and will continue to use there services

Homestead came out and pumped out septic tank. The men were on time and very professional. Total time from arriving until departing was 35 min and they were very knowledgeable. I would recommend them highly to everyone. Their prices seemed right in line with the other options in town but their responsiveness put them over the top. The only recommendation I would make is that since appointments can be 3-5 weeks from when they are originally made, to call and confirm the appointment a few days prior. Not a huge deal at all, just a minor suggestion. I will use them again.

Pumping service was conducted in a timely and professional manner. I would use their services again and I recommend their services to future customers.

Receptionist is incredibly rude. Interrupts you when you are talking and was unpleasant to deal with. I myself had to call twice to find out when they were going to arrive and even then waited longer. Typically a company will give a window of when they will arrive and will call to let you know they are on their way. The man who came out to do the actual pumping was nice, professional and informative though, thus the rating of C. I would have given an F if this experience was based on the previous two complaints.

I was on the verge of leaving town for the winter, and called Homestead to get my septic tank pumped. The woman I spoke to was friendly and helpful, quoted me a reasonable price and set an appointment. They made it to the house at the appointed time, and pumped the tank even though no one was home at the time. I paid the agreed-upon amount by credit card over the phone. As far as I can tell, they provided adequate service, but as I was not present when the tank was pumped, and the nature of the service is such that it's hard to assess quality, I find it impossible to rate that feature. They were punctual and pleasant to deal with.

They were courteous, on-time, efficient, and reasonably priced.

I called several companies because our well line had frozen under our house. Most of the companies we talked with said they did not have the ability to thaw one inch lines under our concrete slab. When the owner showed up to do a free estimate for us he assured us he would be able to fix our problem but he had to go grab a specific part and would be back in an hour. Close to three hour later they returned with the part and thawed our pipe in under twenty minutes. I was unable to get my boiler to be fed cold domestic water so they stuck around trying to help me fix the problem. Eventually I resolved it and Over all I wish the process would have been faster, but I am still happy with the results.

They are awesome. We have worked with them for ten years now. They are close to us and don't charge extra to come to our house. I called several people for prices about the work and Homestead was the cheapest. They are a family owned business. When we have called them for emergency service they are usually here within 30 minutes. They come out once a year and pump our septic tank and they are always punctual. They are professional. The price is not set when they do the pumping because it's based on the amount that has to be pumped out.

I was satisfied with the work that they did. They did it in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards.
