 + -1 moreAaron's crew was absolutely fabulous to work with. They did amazing work and showed attention to detail. I would love to work with them again when I get ready to renovate my bathrooms and kitchen! Aaron is a very knowledgeable and busy person. He is very trusting of his personnel. He needs to oversee his subcontractors work a little more thoroughly (thus the "B"), however, his regular crew is very good.
Description of Work: We discovered that our attached garage, which has two bedrooms above it, did not have any vapor barrier or insulation between the inside house and the garage where the cars, snowblower, etc., run in the winter. Also upstairs we had an extremely "bouncy" floor caused by spanning 2x10s too far (this we didn't discover until after the demo). Aaron, owner of WV Builders, came in and gave us an appraisal of what he thought needed to be done and an estimate. After the demo was done we discovered that the fix for the bouncy floor had to be solved in a different manner and that was adjusted without extra costs. We had to sister new 2x10 to the existing ones to strengthen the floor, rerun all electrical, disconnect the boiler, water softener, etc. We also had completely new insulation in the garage and added insulation to the attic. Vapor barrier was installed so that carbon monoxide gas cannot get into our house during the winter when vehicles/machines are running in the garage. New sheetrock, paint and cabinets were installed.
