Description of Work: Hung up on me repeatedly

Description of Work: I had them do some exterior staining on 3 small, high sections on the gable ends of my house to complete my whole house do it yourself project. Those were areas I could not reach with my 24 foot ladder or was uncomfortable working on the roof pitch at the second story level. Their job was to brush on 2 coats on the wood siding and overhangs and 2 coats in a different color on the trim boards. I also asked them to scrape off the moss on the north side roof shingles on the second story roof since they were up there anyway and they agreed to. An important consideration for me in hiring them was that they were insured. | |Ed Workman and his co-worker Tony were wonderful. They were fast and efficient and worked independently on the different areas on the house. Tony even volunteered and completed a section that I thought would require having the power line dropped first to get to. Their hourly rate of $135.00 for the 2 of them was well worth it. They completed the job in 4.5 hours. | |The only oddity about the experience was that I have never received an invoice from Ed for the work. I wrote him a check for the total amount before they left at the completion of the work even though he did not ask for any money. He said initially he would send me an invoice and then corrected it to say an invoice marked paid. | |

Description of Work: Fixed plenty of wholes in my wall and fixed my leaking sink.

Description of Work: Most recently built a deck for a friend. Previously did work for my father, misc cabinet change out...
