house cleaning
+ -1 moreThe owner is a young woman. She came to my house for an initial review of the place and to give an estimate of time/money it would be. The owner's employees' skills really varied the three times they cleaned!! Basically, for the high amount of money they charge it was not worth it. I own a business as well and understand having to charge a premium to cover for Insurance, Taxes, business license, etc., but I also do a premium job for the customer. Maid Marvelous is just not worth the money.
Description of Work: I only wanted vinyl floors to be vacuumed and mopped, carpets vacuumed, carpeted stairs vacuumed nothing else. I have a 2400 square foot house. The company has a number of employees, their "skill" level is quite varied. The owner said there are always two people at the residence, for safety reasons. The first time was the worst: corners of the vinyl floor were completely missed, both with vacuuming and mopping, and the throw rugs were not put back in the correct location. The second time was better. They did not charge me for the first visit. The third, and last time, the rugs were placed on top of the kitchen sink and left there!! YUCK!! That was the last straw for me.

house cleaning
+ -1 moreThey are very very good. Two - three people arrive bringing their own supplies, get right to work, complete the cleaning efficiently so that the house looks and smells clean when they leave. They will do extra add-ons upon request and adapt schedules as needed. I was concerned about people I didn't know coming in to clean, but they have been completely trustworthy. They have been cleaning for me for approximately a year, and I am still very satisfied.
Description of Work: House Cleaning twice monthly. Did a thorough in-depth cleaning the first time, upkeep cleaning now. Also washed windows and cleaned carpeting.
