Good they forgot to call before exchanging something and didn't get my ok so I wasn't expecting the extra 70.00 They didn't make me pay which was great. My van doesn't sound like it's going to fall apart when I back up so that's good.

This visit and follow up to install the valve went smoothly. Gabe's has performed many repairs for me in the past 15 years. I appreciate that I get phone calls with inquiries to repair or add items I didn't realize were needed. I've used them to ascertain if other shops were giving me a run around, and they've proved valuable in that regard as well. They are well versed in the sub-arctic conditions we live in (we want our vehicles to function at -50 degrees), and will inquire about items necessary (if missing) such as; if an oil pan or transmission heater is not installed (which reduces wear from cold weather starts) they'll call to see if you want one installed. Never pushy or attempts to sell you anything you don't need. If there is a viable but cheaper solution, they offer it. Can't give enough praise to their friendly staff and experienced mechanics.
