 + -1 moreCharlie was contacted, scheduled the appointment and arrived promptly as promised. He was very professional and friendly. He climbed up on the roof and determined he didn't need to actually sweep the stack as it was quite clean. He did an excellent job and was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend A Chimney Sweep to anyone!

Description of Work: I've had A Chimney Sweep (Charlie and one other sweep) come to sweep my woodstove every year and boiler pipe every other year for 8 years. He returns calls promptly, and is on time for the appointment. He has always been helpful in answering questions. I referred a friend and there was an issue with her woodstove, so he explained what he saw and suggested she contact the person who installed her woodstove and/or to contact the Fire Marshall. Turns out his assessment of the problem was spot on, and the problem was fixed by the installer. I highly recommend services provided by A Chimney Sweep.

They returned my message quickly and actually got me in the next day. He arrived towards the end of the estimated time, but was very prompt at completing the job and left some notes as to what he did.

 + -1 moreWe thought we needed our chimney swept, but the company came out and inspected it and said it was clean and wasn't needed yet. He showed us how to open up the chimney from the inside of the house and look inside to check it. Very professional and courteous. Charged us for the call out only and it was worth it. He was supposed to arrive between 9 and 11 and came at 11 am. They are a bit difficult to get ahold of (answering machine only) but always promptly returned my call (to my answering machine).
