 + -1 moreIf I could give them ZERO or negative starts I would. THE WORST company on the planet. They are the installer for Home Depot, which Home Depot expressed for months that they were cutting ties for this company. Our garage door finally arrived to Alaska after 6 long months of waiting, which was a great shipping time. It was delivered to the installer beginning of October. After weeks of calling and leaving messages between Hope Depot my wide and I, to both the husband and wife that own the company, Home Depot finally got ahold of the company, end of November, They said that they had a bunch of orders hit their lap and were going through them and would be calling and setting up an install date. More weeks went by, all of us calling and leaving messages again, Home Depot finally got ahold of them for an install date in January 2023. The most unprofessional company. There is no reason they could have not returned anyones phone calls to tell us, hey we received your messages, we will get you taken care of, but no NOTHING! We recommend this company to NO ONE. Now, work wise, they came the day as promised, installed and did a good job. I just wish they were an ethical company.

Description of Work: Installed garage door opener, which was bought at at Home Depot and was paid by Home Depot installation price. He also noticed springs were out of adjustment and fixed it. Will use again for any garage door problem or replacement of door. (He was a little due to a Flat tire on way, and was sorry about being a little late. Flat was in the back of his truck.)

Description of Work: Very impressed with Automatic Gates of Alaska. The day that I called, they were able to come out and give me a price and some info on my 2 garage doors. We ended up choosing them after we received prices from a couple other companies. Only one other company came out to give us a bid in person and the rest insisted over the phone. The Richard Wilcox doors that they installed seem to be very well built and the closers are extremely quiet. We have been very happy with the service and the garage doors.

 + -1 moreIn a nutshell - I was incredibly grateful to David Lord for delivering impeccable service on a freezing cold day when my family needed protection from the elements the most. I would use him again in a heartbeat. And I highly recommend him to anyone who needs their garage door serviced either because of damage or normal wear and tear. I hope this helps.
Description of Work: I did not realize my garage door was only partially opened when I attempted to back my car out of the garage. Needless to say, I smashed the heck out of the door on one of the coldest nights so far. At minus5 degrees, neighbors were wonderful in helping me get the door lowered, however it was very, very broken. After calling a few places - one that never called back, and another that insisted on extra money for the gas he would spend getting to my home, I found Automatic Gates of Alaska. David Lord was a God-send. He answered his phone on the first ring. He was professional and kind, offering to come right over. He and his helper assessed the damage, gave me a very reasonable price for labor ($80) and then proceeded to drive to Spenard Builders for a replacement panel which cost 286.00. David and his assistant put my door back together as though it had never sustained damage at all. In fact, they even replaced my weatherstripping which was in poor shape even though my house is only 4 yrs old. But you know these hard Alaskan winters...sigh.

 + -1 moreI noticed that my garage was very cold in the winter and there was alot of air coming through the garage door. I looked online and found Automatic Gates of Alaska, So i gave them a call. David answered the phone and was able to come out that day. He fixed me up with a new gargae door. I am so happy with it!! No more cold garage! He was on time, clean and very knowlegable!! I would use him again and recommend him to all of my family and friends!
Description of Work: I had my garage door replaced.... My garage was always cold and made tons of noise when opening and closing it.
