+ -1 moreAn electrician with Rising Son Electric (Who came out on a Saturday after acquiring new tools as his were stolen out of his truck the night before) diagnosed our rising electric bill to our well pump running when no water was being used. Jim Sullivan came out with Arctic Pump and Well on Monday and saw that we have an old style aluminum pitless adapter and they are prone to failure. We bypassed the line in the ground with a garden hose until they could come out Thursday and replace our pitless adapter. It only took them about 5 hours to pull out the original pump, excavate to replace the pitless adapter, put in a new pump, pipe, and wire, and run a new wire in new conduit to the house. All parties involved were punctual and professional in nature. The only thing I would rate them down on is the fact that they don't accept credit cards or offer any financing. He did work with us to allow a couple days to move money around.
Description of Work: I had an original pump installed by his father in the 70's at 336' of depth. The pump still worked, but the aluminum pitless adapter failed and was leaking outside of the casing. Arctic pump contracted Dean Construction to do the excavating to replace the pitless adapter 12' down the casing. I also had the pump replaced with a new constant pressure pump which included all new wiring and pipe in the casing and new wire installed in new conduit from the casing all the way into the house. The constant pressure is a big improvement especially with 2 people showering at the same time.
