Very professional, the best . In 49 years of marriage we have moved to from and within Alaska for career and family reasons ... the only real estate agent we have gone to more than once is Dan Wolf and he is the agent we will seek out again if another real estate transaction is required. Real Estate agents can be expensive. Good ones are worth the money. Dan Wolf is worth every cent ... he works hard for his clients.

Dan Wolf is clearly one of the very best realtors who we've had the pleasure to work with and we can recommend him unconditionally. We initially chose Dan Wolf Realty when we were buying our current home, because their website is without any question the best one for searching houses in our Anchorage neighborhood (Goldenview Park). When it came time to sell our existing house, we interviewed several realtors and picked Dan Wolf Realty again. Our own house was in very good condition, but we were listing just before winter and that presented some marketing challenges. Dan's team took excellent photos and also used some seasonal photos that we provided to create a great web page and walk-through video. Dan was in regular contact with us by property visits, email, and phone and he provided many excellent suggestions to help our house to compete in what became a buyer's market, when Alaska's state economy stalled. On Dan's recommendations we staged furniture in the house, changed some wall colors, upgraded the kitchen countertop, and kept our price competitive with other new or changing listings. Dan's sign was posted at street level and they kept it stocked with updated full-color flyers. His sign also had a laminated flyer on it, so shoppers would be able to snap a photo if the flyer box was ever emptied. Dan's team updated the photos on the web each time we made decorating changes, held frequent open houses for realtors and buyers, and ultimately found the right buyer for us. Dan and team member Mylise also joined us for closing. Over the years, we've bought and sold more than a half dozen of our own homes and also sold another three homes for family members. Dan Wolf's services were far superior to those provided by most realtors who we've worked with before.

Dan Wolf is beyond amazing... he was incredible throughout the whole process. He was extremely attentive when looking for the perfect place, he kept on top of everything and when we found the one, he went above and beyond to ensure we got the best bang for our buck! Dan is very easy and fun to work with, he's honest and to the point. If you want someone who cares and puts you first - there is no one more experienced. I have used Dan over the years for all my realtor needs and will continue to exclusively use him in the future.

The process was fairly painless. Our offer was accepted May 28 and we closed on July 19.

The purchase of our new home was trying for us as it had been over 17 years since we had purchased a home and the sellers and agent were difficult at best. The Wolf team was extremely helpful working through the trials and tribulations of a difficult seller and sellers agent. We were kept up to date all along the way with great communication and they really did a fantastic job helping to keep our emotions at bay and walk us through the process as quickly as possible :) The sale of out home was a different process obviously than purchasing but we were fortunate enough to have a full price offer within 48 hours of listing and were under contract shortly after. We are signed sealed and delivered, thank you Wolf Team!

They had many showings. Suggested things that could make it move a bit faster, make it more appealing. I have known Dan for over 35 years and he is very honest, hard working and good at what he does. A good friend of mine in the banking industry and I were talking and we both agreed that he would be the best one to use. My best friend also has used him in the past and he also recommended him. Shanda did a great job of keeping me advised of everything that was happening and helped with great suggestions and put up with a cranky old guy. If I had contacted them earlier instead of trying to sell it on my own when the market was good, I believe it would have sold quicker and for more. That was my mistake. I would say anyone that is looking to sell or buy would have a great experience using the Wolf Team. On top of everything else they always showed up with a smile on their faces and got the job done.

My husband, daughter and I just made the 4,000 mile move from Texas to Anchorage, AK. Needless to say I was apprehensive of the whole idea. We came up to visit in July and that was when we were introduced to Kristen Whitehurst. Without knowing whether we would make the move or not, she took several hours out of her day to drive us in and around Anchorage. She was extremely knowledgeable on the area and it was really nice to talk to someone who had experience making the same move we were contemplating. After deciding to take the plunge we contacted Kristen immediately after we made it to Anchorage on October 1. I believe she drove us around within 3 days of us arriving to show us some properties we had already identified online. Being new to the area, it was so comforting to be able to ask her questions about areas of town, schools, etc. If she ever personally didn't know the answer (for instance particular elementary schools) someone at the Wolf team was able to give us the answers promptly. However, she was able to help us in whatever way we needed which was so nice. We found a house and neighborhood we fell in love with right away. She was very professional and prompt during negotiations and ultimately she helped us purchase a home we are thrilled about. The Wolf team was able to get a contractor lined up within a day to help us discuss some renovations we plan to do. And as of this week we still had some questions about the house and Kristen got us an answer within a day. We moved up here October 1 and managed to close on our new home November 17. They did everything they could in their power to get a quick close for us because we were living in a temporary apartment with 2 dogs and a baby without our stuff! Overall I don't think my husband or I could be more pleased with the service we had with the Wolf team. We are already getting settled and very excited about the memories to come in our new home. We contacted Dan Wolf in February 2014 because of the great reviews we saw online. We had listed our house the previous summer with an Eagle River agent with whom we were very disappointed. We were already out of the state and interviewed Dan both via email and phone. Our only hesitation in going with Dan's team was that they are in Anchorage and we wondered how many of their clients would be looking in Eagle River. Our house had a unique floorplan tht was not ideal for families with young children and a somewhat steep driveway up off of Skyline Drive. On the positive side it was beautifully finished and had an amazing view of Anchorage and the Eagle River valley. Dan encouraged us to list the house in March and arranged for snowplowing a couple of times. The sale proved a bit difficult because of the unique nature of the house, but Dan and Shanda were both very personable and encouraging in the process. We had to lower the price a couple of times, which was painful, but Dan and Shanda were very professional in advising us without pressure. Shanda handled the details and was absolutely amazing at communicating, which was very important to us! When we finally got a contract on the house in August, Shanda was great about patiently ushering us through the paperwork and promptly responded to any questions we had. The buyer proved to be quite demanding and both the Wolf Team and the buyer's realtor stepped in and offered to pay for one request by the buyer that threatened to kill the deal. We finally closed in early October and would heartily recommend the Wolf Team to anyone needing to sell a house in the Anchorage area. We actually really miss our emails and phone calls with them. They made a difficult process much more pleasant than it would have otherwise been!

Great. We really feel like we can trust them. Selling our home required a lot of repairs for closing and Dans Team put in many hours going back and forth with contractors and insurance. The experience is always less stressful when Dan gets involved.

Do not over price. Your home, do not be greedy. You will loose potential buyers. Be fair, be reasonable and be patient. I remodeled our place nicer then when we lived in it. I sent about 15,000 with bringing up to code,and remodeling. The typical house in our subdivision went for avg 243,000. Our appraised at 262,900 However, you just do not go and pick a realtor,myou need to find out their history on sales and success. I was fortunate, I ave watched An Wolf for years and he as always been in the lime light of real estate. It's not the company reputation, it is the retaliatory that represents you!
