WILD S'TILE

Jo was right on time as scheduled. He is very friendly and worked efficiently. It was a 2 day job and it couldn’t have turned out better. On day 2 of our job we had a 7.0 earthquake while he was at the house working. After the quake he finished the section he was working on and we insisted he went to check on his house. He did and was back within an hour to finish the job. We would have been fine for him to return another day but he insisted he’d come back to finish. He did a great job and we will hire him again for our master bath tile job next year when we decide to tackle that project. Overall a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Joe was professional, punctual and clear with his communication. He did estimate and came out a couple days later to start the job. When he left for the day he left everything as clean as possible. He completed the job on the agreed upon time. Happy with the finished work. I would hire Joe again in the future.

Joe explained that he would use a special tool to remove some of the old grout before applying new grout. The estimate was 3 hrs. work for $200.00 that we thought was very reasonable. He started the job on time and finished in two hours. He closed the bathroom door and it was completely quite. He did not remove any of the old grout, only applied new grout over old grout. Two weeks later discoloration appeared per tile grout. We found him on ANGIES list prior to hiring him for the job. Reputable businesses such as grout doctor (5 reviews) had only a reasonable reviews compared to W'STILE where he had approximately 40 reviews. It was obvious after ripping us off that he was probably submitting his own reviews. We hope this is helpful so someone else does not get lured into hiring him because of all the positive reviews and very reasonable cost.

Everything from demo to completion was satisfactory. Timely, efficient, professional. Did a very nice job and clean up was great. Did his best to leave area as clean as he could at night before returning the next morning.

I had all the materials, after calling and talking with him, he came to my home and gave me a quote the same day. I hired him after reviewing the quote. he came bake the next day (at the time agreed to) and in the time he said he would be done, I had a new back splash. My fiancé had the back splash she wanted. The day after he finished, my fiancé and I traveled to Hawaii to be married and we have loved the look and functionality of the work he did for us. We are planning a new stone fireplace, and with out a doubt we will use Wild s'tile for that project. Thanks

Joe's bid wasn't the lowest of the bids but was far lower than an initial estimate of $1600 from R&D tile. We decided to go with Joe because he was responsive and straight forward. He did nice work and left the place clean. We asked him to use sanded grout on 1/16" gaps. He explained the problems associated with doing that so we went with sandless grout. I would definitely use Joe again.

The project went excellent. Joe was on time, within estimate and the project was performed seamlessly. The tile floor is beautiful now. Joe's knowledge and expertise in installing tile was obvious throughout the job. He took the time to advise us of the installation options for the floor and also identified in detail what was improperly performed by the previous contractor as he was demolishing the existing tile floor mess. It took only 3 days for Joe to complete the job which included the demo of the previous floor tile and gooey underlayment. We can now finally walk on a solid grouted tile floor in the bathroom after a month long nightmare with an incompetent contractor. Thank you Joe and sorry for the hassle of cleaning up someone else's defective work. I also appreciated Joe discussing the technical issues in detail with the previous contractor and advising him on how to install tile with appropriate products in the future. I will not allow anyone else to install tile in my home as long as Joe is available to perform the work.

The provider (Joe) was punctual and very professional. He answered our many questions about tile installation, and had good advice re: color of grout, direction to lay tile, what transitions to use, later care of tile/grout, etc. The finished work looks terrific -- our bathrooms look brand new! And the woodstove hearth is beautiful. We did a lot of research online about tile installation, prices, and floor prep, and Joe was very reasonably priced, plus was experienced and knowledgeable. We recommend him very highly!

Overall I am please with the job he did. Outstanding job matching the grout in the hallway. There was some excess grout on a couple of joints in the tub surround, he returned next day and correct the work without hesitation. Not everything is going to be perfect and a response like that is outstanding customer service. The only problem I have is that a couple areas could have been clean-up a bit better.

Joe came over on short notice for a small job. He did a great job and was pleasant to work with. His work was a good value, but I always wish repairs didn't cost so much.

He worked solid for about 4 hrs. He works solo and did a neat, efficient, and reasonably priced job.

Joe was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and tidy. He careful to consult with us regarding our wishes and help guide us in purchasing needed tile and other supplies. It was easy to schedule his work to meet our schedule. He went to great effort to keep things clean and to clean up after himself.

Gave an estimate after seeing the tile and the site. The night before the work was to start he called and said that it could not be done the way he had quoted it and would need to replace the drywall or i needed to change the tile. This added delays to the project and took the job up an additional $500. Once we agreed to do this and he started on the tile, he kept changing what he could do until we ended up with a design that did not even resemble where we wanted to be. Additionally, the job took an extra 3 days to complete. The quality of the install was fair, and not the quality we expected. He also built out the wall to the point that my faucet pipe is now too short for the fixture.

He did what he said he would do in a timely fashion, I just thought it was a little high but nice work.

I called Joe on Thursday the 2nd of January, he showed up later that afternoon at our house and we booked him for the following Monday. Talk about speedy service! He was professional, punctual and did a great job in just two days flat. What more do you need to know? If you have tile work, this is your guy for sure, I know we will call him again for any tile needs we have.

Called him on a Friday, he came within the hour to look the bathroom over and give me an estimate. He was afraid he would find damage to walls behind the tiles, but told me that it was properly backed with cement board, which would save me a lot of money. He came the following monday, and completed the entire job within a few hours. Looks wonderful, and I'm sure it'll last for many many years.

Wanted a bid, called and talked to the business owner, but never did get the reply with a number.

We had received three bids on a project to install tile in our shower stall. Even with our doing the demolition and handling the plumbing fixtures and shower door, the bids were really high and we put it off. Until we came to Angie's List and found Wild S'tile. The bid, including the demolition and reinstalling the plumbing fixtures and shower door, was quite reasonable. The work could be done in a relatively short amount of time and could start pretty much right away. We went for it and are quite pleased with the value, the quality, and the timeliness of the work. We recommend others consider using Wild S'tile for their tiling needs.

The plumber had raised the shower head above the old tile line when he put in the new tub. When Joe came back to put the new tile in, he extended the tile up to the new shower head. He also noticed that some tiles had come loose from my fireplace hearth and repaired them as well while he was there. I was impressed and grateful that he did these extra things without even being asked. He totally cleaned up after himself and took the extra time to lay out cloth to protect the carpet when he took the old tub out of the condo.

We made the decision to have it done after reading the reviews on Angie's list. Called and he came out immediately to look at our kitchen and provide an estimate. We ordered tiles then hoped they could be installed before our family visited in May. He had an opening, fit us into his schedule and completed the work in two days. Now the kitchen looks perfect. Love it-

The work was completed as bid and the quality of the work was self evident. I would recommend Joe for any tile work and plan to have him do some work on my other bathroom tile walls.
