Description of Work: They turned over some batting style insulation in the attic so the paper backing did not show for fire code. Two men worked for 30-40 minutes. Charge $1280. There were missing bats and the ends stuck up showing the paper. | The owner was very professional and knowledgeable but I didn't anticipate how little work was involved for the estimate.

Description of Work: Great service! I had three bids for insulation in my crawl space and they beat all of them. They arrived on time and were able to finish by the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I started out loving this company and ended being very frustrated and just wanting to be done with therm. The owner came out, walked through and around the house and explained, very well, what they could do for our house and how it would benefit. We got duct sealing, insulation in attic and cantilevered floors and spray foam insulation around outside of house. A few days before they were set to begin working on our house I was informed that one of their guys was going hunting so they were going to have to add a day. The extra day at last minute was very frustrating to arrange with our work schedules. They came out on the thrid day, still didn't finish and then it became VERY difficult to get them to come back out to finish. They left sections off the flashing missing, wires that had been attached to my home they left dangling and on top of it all I couldn't get them to return my calls to get it scheduled to finish. Several days and several phone calls later I was able to talk to someone and was informed that the next time they were in my area they would stop by to finish. Three days later they showed up but still didn't finish. They shaved some of the exterior insulation but did not address my concerns at all. More phone calls from me to them and finally a threat to stop payment, a week later they came out and finished the flashing, but left the wires. That being said, the house seems, so far, to be warmer and that was our end goal. It could have gone a little smoother. Before we chose WA, we had 2 other companies come out and WA seemed the most knowledgeable. I still feel that they were the right choice over the other two. I would recommend them. We went off of recommendations and reviews from Angieslist. It sounds like our experience is the first with any problems. Perhaps I am just old fashoined, but I don't think a job is done until it is 100% done and I don't feel like I should have to chase them down to get them to come finish a job we already paid for.

Description of Work: I had baffles of insulation added to my attic, spray foam added to the rim joist and R19 and R30 added to the masonary walls in my crawlspace. I also had spray foam added to my cantilevers. The men arrived as scheduled and cleaned up the inside as well as the outside before they left. I was impressed with their professionalism. One month ago I had Weatherize Alaska come back to Aerosol Seal the ducts from the furnace. The difference in temperature is AMAZING! It's actually warm inside!!! This old condo went from 326 CFM of leakage to 33 CFm of leakage. I never thought the upstairs, downstairs and stairwell would ever be warm throughout. I am so happy to be finally be warm and comfortable in my home. The heater hardly ever kicks on anymore. The savings has just begun. The rooms stay the same temp. for much longer periods even on the coldest of days we had in January.
