Tall Trees

Professional. The crew removed the trees without debris falling into neighbors yards. Felled trees and branches all removed. Cost was reasonable - less than $300/tree.

I have used Tall Trees for a few years now for tree pruning, soil injects, and tree removal and have always been extremely happy with their work. Very impressed with the quality of work, always on time, cleaned up after the job, and my trees look great. I appreciate the time they took to explain the processes to me and ensured I was happy with the job. I highly recommend Tall Trees and I will continue using them in the future

Everything from the consultation, estimate and completion of the job was perfect! This was not a simple job, the trees in a confined area not easily accessible. This is the 2nd time I have used Tall Trees for a job. In both instances they have performed admirably.

Received a full cord of wood at a very reasonable price.

The job went smooth. Their use of a bucket truck ensured that all cuts were precise and all limbs fell where expected. They were quick and efficient. The did leave one divot in the yard but took no responsibility for it. In my mind that could have been much, much worse. Grinding the stump was a great way to finish the job.

Smooth but I had to correct their bill when the foreman asked for a signature and again when they tried to collect for a service that wasn't rendered. I chalked it up to a communications error, twice.

I guess the price was an "A." I didn't do a lot of shopping around because I'd used them before for some other minor things.

Great. Trees and bushes look wonderful

I have used Tall Trees for years for my tree work and they do an excellent job. They are are quick to give an estimate and a scheduled time for work to be done. On this job, a crew of four came to address various trees and they were polite, efficient and got the job done quickly and well, including cleaning up after themselves which is a huge plus for me when having tree work done. Ben, Chris, Jack and Tibita (probably spelled incorrectly) were excellent at their job. One tree still needs some work and the company will return to do that stabilization once they have the proper cable. I will continue to use Tall Trees for future work. They do a good job and take pride in their work.

Very efficient and professionally done. I needed the work performed quickly because I was about to leave on a trip. This worked out very well. The contractor's crew was very efficient, friendly, and completely professional. I was very happy. I suspect I got a reasonable price because I arranged the contract and had the work done slightly out of season, just before Spring.

As part of a tree removal, yard improvement project this spring I had asked Tall Trees to trim my HUGE cotoneaster hedge. Mike recommended waiting until the fall for the health of the plant, which I was happy to do - until the muni posted a notice on my door that my hedge was out of compliance with local ordinance, so I called Mike and he got on it immediately. He came right out, looked at what needed to be done, made great suggestions about meeting compliance, called the compliance officer directly to make sure that timing and specifications were understood, and then got me into the schedule right away. I was somewhat dreading what the compliance area was going to look like (not because of Tall Trees, but because a lot needed to be removed), but when I got home I was really impressed with the professional, clean and tidy job that Tall Trees had done. Wow. I think the hedge is going to need annual TLC and trimming from Tall Trees from here on out! Thanks so much guys!

All went great. Right on time and just as described. Trees taken down and stumps grinded a few days later.

Tall Trees removed 7 trees for me, which went well (separate review). At the time they told me that they would have to wait on the stump grinding because the ground was still frozen. I was suprised when a few days later they determined that the ground was ready for stump removal. Stump removal was a bit of a fiasco. My house was completely splattered with mud and 4 windows of 8 on my sun room were broken. The grinder had been driven across the driveway and packed dirt and discoloration into the cement. Tall Trees had not put down tarps or any other protection for the driveway and had left the broken glass / dirt splatter without any note or phone call about the damage. I just came home and discovered what had happened. I called tall trees and the woman I spoke to was very apologetic and put me in touch with their glass repair person. Rival Glass came out later on in the week to look at the panes and determined that the existing windows were not safety glass as required by code. Sam at Rival Glass indicated that they could only replace the glass to code, and that the safety glass would look different than the non-safety glass (unbroken windows) and would be more expensive. The estimate from Rival glass came back at a bit over 1000 to replace the glass with non-safety glass, which they were now willing to do even though it was not to code. Safety glass was going to be 1600, with the difference being my responsibility. Tall Trees offered to refund me 1000 for the glass which I could then put towards replacement of all 8 windows, which I decided was the best option. In lieu of payment I asked if they would remove the stump grindings and level out the yard, which was a mess from the heavy equipment. Tall Trees agreed and seemed to think they could get to the work within a few days. A few days went by and I didn't get a call, but instead got the bill for the stump grinding, which seemed a bit presumptious since the damage had not been taken care of, but I sent payment along. Today, without a phone call that the work was going to happen, I came home and the yard was completely leveled and the stump grindings were removed, but there was a large oil stain on the driveway, and the hasp on the fence had been completely ripped off and was no where to be found. Again, the driveway was a mess of packed dirt. I think the folks at Tall Trees do a great job at tree removal, but that's about it. They did atleast try to make the situation right when they broke the windows, but it has been a huge hassle on my end to say the least, and to come home AGAIN to damage and a fence that can't be closed was quite frustrating.

Tall Trees called the night before, arrived as expected, did an excellent job on the tree removal. Hasp on one fence gate was bent, but more or less could be bent back into shape. All in all very pleased! This was a wonderful experience and was in stark contrast to the stump grinding work which followed a few days later.

The crew came out and evaluated the trees that needed to come down. They came back on time and took the trees, cut it into logs, and took the scrap away. All in all a good experience. we got a lot of info as to what was a healthy tree.

Excellent! We only marked "A" grades above because there was nothing higher. Everyone from Mike, the owner, on down the line were prompt, hard working, knowledgeable, informative, detail-oriented and friendly. Mike is an arborist and really knows his stuff. Not sure about Ben, the head of the crew that came out, but he's fantastic, too. All of his assistants were wonderful as well. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. The old camping ethic that you must "...always leave your campsite better than you found it" certainly applied here. They left everything looking great. We greatly appreciate Tall Trees' good old-fashioned honest work ethic. They obviously take pride in everything they do. The cherry on top was when the youngest crew member (we didn't get his name), upon departure, said with a big smile, "I LOVE my job!" We're still smiling. And Tall Trees has another customer for life!

They were very professional and accurate with what they did. He came with a machine that grinds and stamps. He did not tear our yard up and when he left everything was cleaned and leveled.

This service is expensive but has always been worth it.

Responded the next day. Very professional and friendly; unfortunately the price, though it seemed fair, was outside my budget at the time. I felt the company was caring and reputable in our transaction.

Tall Trees crew removed a large/tall pine tree. The tree was located between our house and the neighbors. Their crewman climbed up to near the top of the tree, cut and lowered each branch to the ground by rope, to insure no collateral damage. All parts of the tree were ground up, hauled away, and the surrounding ground was raked clean. Good job and we give the crew an excellent rating.

The crew came and cleared the ditch in one day. They missed a 10 foot section so I called and they came out within two days and completed the task. They did a great job.

Excellent crew. Excellent service by Mike the owner and Kevin the foreman. Tall Trees has an understanding of how trees grow and how to shape those that are to be trimmed. Expert at chainsawing, tying off the upper limbs, bringing branches down away from the house and roof. We coordinated so that neighbors trees would be trimmed the same day. I would use them again.
