Sunshine Window Cleaning

They came into my home and acted like the owned the place. Very strange. slamming windows shut. They then decided that the last window didn't need to be cleaned because they didn't think it was dirty, but they went ahead and charged us the full quoted price anyway, the estimate was based on per window cost. Cleaning windows is just a commodity, so I say just go with someone else. I prefer to deal with respectful people.

They did a FANTASTIC job and I'm really pleased. The windows are sparkling clean and moreover all the white trim around the windows is spotless. The screens no longer have insects and dirt spoiling the view. Thank You So Much, Sunshine Window Cleaning for work above and beyond the average window cleaners!

There is no way we could be happier with the quality, punctuality, professionalism and overall work ethic of Ed and his crew. They not only cleaned years of moss and stuff buildup on our roof, they trimmed several overhanging branches (to prevent a re occurrence) they put plastic down to catch the moss, cleaned up all of the mess, power washed the roof and driveway, cleaned the outside windows of the overspray from the cleaning and used the dirt and moss as a good mulch and filled in several low spots in the back of the house. I am a retired I.B.M. Senior Customer Service Engineer. I've been in the service industry for 45 years. Ed knows his craft and is the old standard of the way things used to be done. Pride and detail are only two of his quality's. I could go on, but his work is impeccable. Several of my neighbors saw him at work and he got at least 3 referrals and jobs just from the appearance of the job he did. I'm rambling. The man and his crew are the way things used to be. Happy? YES. Satisfied? YES. Will we call for other services? Heck yes. His price was reasonable, and far below any of the other quotes.

Ed communicates well. I called from Angie’s List. He came over promptly and assessed the job ..... started work the next day. Ed cleaned the exterior on day 1 then brought Laura and Richard for the interiors on day 2. This was a BIG job and they went right to it. They were very responsive to last minute details and trying to get the final product ship shape. I would definitely hire them again .... it’s a local mom/pop operation which I eagerly support. I felt the price was more than reasonable for over 30 double paned windows that required cleaning on four surfaces each and hadn’t been cleaned in over three years.

Called Ed when vendor we had been using twice a year for 4 to 5 years failed to show up for scheduled appointment and failed to respond to follow up calls and or texts. Sunshine is a family run business and Ed and Laura came right out to take a look, provid us with an estimate and put us on the schedule, weather dependent, for the following week. True to his word, he called the following weekend to confirm our appointment and let me know he would be at our home on Monday. On Monday, Ed, Laura and Chad arrived on time and went right to work, with Ed doing the outside windows requiring most of the ladder work and Laura and Chad working inside. The outside temperature was hovering around 28 requiring Ed to adjust his cleaning solution to prevent liquid from freezing and streaking the outside windows. Meanwhile Chad and Laura moved efficiently and quickly through the inside of the house getting all but the highest windows requiring the reach of a tall ladder, which Ed got when he finished outside. Ed and his team were extremely courteous and respectful. They were careful to protect the floors, furnishings and window sills by placing towels under their water buckets and quickly wiping excess cleaning solution from individual work areas. They didn't dilly dally or waste time and the end result was fantastic. Despite the freezing temps outside, the windows are sparkling clean and we have already scheduled them to return in the spring. If you try them, you will not be disappointed.

On time, worked diligently to thoroughly clean windows. Not quite prepared for difficulty of removing self-storing storm windows but did get the job done. Will use them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunshine Window Cleaning! They were on time and did an absolutely fantastic job. They cleaned the windows (outside only) and our gutters in about 1/2 hour. No window streaking, no mess with leaves and other gutter debris, and VERY reasonably priced. I will definitely hire them again. AND they're friendly!

Called to set up original appointment to have our gutters cleaned. Name of company not given when they answered the phone. They said they would call me to give me a time they would arrive on day of service. They didn't call so I called them. They weren't on their way, they lost my paper work and didn't have any of my information I gave them a couple days before. I rescheduled and they neither called nor showed up for that appointment. I called and left a voicemail to cancel so they wouldn't show up when we weren't expecting them. Very disappointed in their unprofessional behavior, especially after reading such good reviews.

Sunshine Window Cleaning was responsive from the very beginning. They came out the same day I called to provide an estimate for gutter cleaning services. They were punctual for the estimate appointment, and provided a cost right away. We were able to get scheduled with them within a couple days of receiving the estimate. As scheduled, they arrived on time and completed the services requested. They were responsive, communicative, punctual, efficient, and professional throughout the entire transaction. I would definitely use them again for this same service, and am willing to utilize them for the other services they provide (window cleaning, etc.). They were terrific!

Although I live in Palmer, I called Sunshine Window Cleaning in Anchorage to see if they provide service to the Palmer area. They set up an appointment for the next day, called before getting here, and showed up right on time. After a quick estimate, Ed Myers did the work immediately while he was here. He checked the gutters, and cleaned out the areas that needed cleaning. He did not charge me for cleaning several of the gutter areas that didn't he thought didn't need cleaning. He also removed moss from the valley areas of the roof, and sprayed moss killer on the rest of the roof where moss was starting to grow. He put zinc strips on the roof to help keep the moss from growing back once it dies. He and his wife were very professional, and I greatly appreciated their prompt response and all their advice. Their price was very fair, and I will definitely use them again and let my neighbors know about their excellent service.
