Good. One year out and no more leaks. Couple little details that I would have had them address if I'd noticed closer to when the job wrapped, but overall seems to be a solid roof job. There was quite a bit of rotten wood that had to be replaced and they did a great job with that. They were also good about having me come see the job at different stages of tear off and installation to show what was going on which was appreciated.

Chris Berga, the owner of Signature Roofing LLC, and his crew replaced my roof, as well as the other half of the zero-lot-line?s roof in just a little over two days and they were GREAT! The bid was in line with other bids (the price above is for my half of the job); however, what really sold me on Chris were his very positive outlook, product knowledge, and belief in his product. We hear a lot of lip service these days about ?customer service,? but this businessman delivers! Not only did he go out of his way last fall to replace a chimney cap to prevent further damage to my roof this past winter; but also, he efficiently communicated timelines, answered questions, and in general left me confident of his ability to do a good job. His foreman, Shane, reflected Chris?s positive, customer service oriented attitude throughout the job, and especially when I asked him to replace some plywood, because even though it looked fine from the top side, there was evidence of mildew on the interior side from when the chimney cap had originally blown off. He made sure it was done right. The individual crewmembers, Eugene and Mike conducted themselves courteously, worked hard, and were proactive in cleaning the yards and driveways at the end of each day, and during the final clean up, they made sure there were no stray nails left behind. I feel I got a bargain given the quality of workmanship and materials, the professional behavior, clean up?the whole process was phenomenal! I highly recommend Chris and his crew. Should I ever have to reroof a building, Chris Berga is the man I will be calling.

Signature Roofing, Chris the owner and his roofing crew were a real gem to hire in September 2013. We have re- roofed a previous home and built a new home in Anchorage, so we are not new to hiring contractors and how to get the best outcome. We used Angie's List as part of our due diligence to find additional contractor names and feedback. This is where we discovered Signature Roofing. Signature was a lower bid compared to 3-4 others. The commercial insurance was in place and legal research showed a clean record in the courts. The Better Business Bureau research also showed no concerns. Chris and crew knew the trade very well. They showed up as scheduled during a very high demand time of year (in the Fall when people start to panic end-of-season). The quality of work was top-notch. We wish we had considered Signature for previous and much larger projects, believing the outcome would be great.

I heard about Signature Roofing as well as a few others through Angie's List. I tried contacting the others first as I recognized a few of their business names, but when I spoke with them I was told they were too busy to come look at it, or they just wanted to sell me a new roof instead of making repairs. Chris came over and looked at the situation and came up with a plan to replace the missing shingles and patch the small holes where the Dish Network satellite dish had previously been mounted. That happened last summer. This winter I had an issue and thought I had a hole in my fireplace chase - Chris came out, climbed up and found that I actually had some ice damming near the direct vent. He told me how he could come out and repair it, or gave me enough information to do it myself, which I did and haven't had a problem since then. I would highly recommend Chris and Signature Roofing to anyone without hesitating - his work ethic, communication and quality control are all excellent.

We had minor wind damage to the front porch shingles from the neighbors tree falling on it. We called three other companies that all reported being booked solid. Called Chris and he was able to fit us in-between jobs since it was fairly simple. Price great, response time was good considering how many other homes had damage. Will use again if the need arises.

They came and gave and estimate and then indicated when they would be able to complete the job. My insurance company came to estimate damage to roof and interior. The job was completed quickly and on time.

After the storm, I called a couple of roofers. Everyone was busy and wouldn't be able to look at the roof for at least a week. Chris gave me an estimate the next day and had the repairs done the day after that and he charged me half of what the other roofers said was their minimum.

Signature Roofing did an AMAZING job! They were fast, efficient, and gave us a better than great price! The roofing crew was punctual, professional, and made sure everything was cleaned up so we wouldn't have to worry about anything! We were nervous about such a large job with replacing the whole roof, custom requests, and we knew we had some rot in spots. However, they were extremely helpful about keeping us informed about what they were doing, and answered all our questions. They even helped us find a quality company to install our custom seamless gutter system we wanted. If you want a roof that is done right and on time, this is the company to use. They were really quick and professional. They got a quote for me really quickly, and they were able to come out and do the work rather quickly. It was a very easy process. They were more expensive than the others. So far the quality is good but time will tell. I will use them again in the future.
