DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING POSTED ON ANGI'S LIST. ONE OF THEIR SALES PEOPLE CALLED OUR COMPANY AND SAID THAT IF WE DID NOT PAY THEM, THEY WOULD ONLY SHOW BAD REVIEWS AND OR MAKE THEM UP.

BAD Customer Service. No response to voice mails or emails regarding electrical work to be done
Description of Work: Called numerous times for a job estimate or to find out if they did the work required Residential Art was to call, left messages on his voice mail So I emailed them NO RESPONSE They must not need our hard earned money

Had a scheduled appointment at 1 pm. At 2 pm, I called the company and they said 2 of their electricians called in sick. He said they thought they called everyone to reschedule. They did not call me. After telling me several more times their electricians called in sick, he offered to reschedule the following week. After taking over a month in order for someone to come out for a quote (coming out on a different day for the estimate than scheduled), getting the quote and then the appointment (of which, company did not respond to my email and I had to call them to schedule), I told the company I would take my business elsewhere.
Description of Work: Only provided an estimate for replacing a light switch, fixing polarity on a receptacle, removing wiremold and recessing a receptacle, and tighten all connections on existing panel and main meter.

Had a scheduled appointment for 9:30 in the morning. I left work to be at home. At 10:30 am I called them and asked if there was a problem. They told me there was no problem but they only had one guy and he had an emergency that morning. While I appreciate that an "emergency" may take priority over my appointment a phone call advising me would have been nice. I suspect they knew early on that there was an "emergency" and could have called my office so I didn't take time off work to sit at my house. My other question over this was "they only have ONE guy?" At 11:45 they finally showed up. 2 gentlemen. One older and obviously supervising, the other younger...The gentlemen were nice and fairly professional. I showed them the closet and told them I was re-configuring it for storage and I wanted lots of light. They said no problem. I told them if they had questions to please ask me and I left them to it and went into another room, same floor. At 12:45ish the older gentlemen told me they were done and while he was cleaning up the mess I took a look. They had installed a light fixture with ONE bulb availability! Stupid me, it had been so long since I had seen just a ONE bulb fixture I hadn't realized I should have been more specific. I said to the younger gentlemen that I wanted a 2 fixture and he said "too late now"!! and chuckled as he walked out with their ladder. At that moment I was done. I paid the invoice. Said thank you and showed them to the door. I won't be calling back for the remaining electrical work I need done. I don't trust them now.
Description of Work: I had a closet light that needed a switch installed and new light fixture. The old fixture had a string pull that had broken off and there was no light switch.

When I first called for an appointment the service manager told me they were 3 weeks out. O.K. I've used them before and while the electrician was pretty slow and I was getting charged by the hour she did an acceptable job. So this time I went a head to have them come out to give me an estimate, accepted it and set a date which was the only day off I had from work. After they were 1/2 hour late I called the service manager. About 40 minutes later I called the number for the shop since I still had no response to my first phone call to the service manager. I was told that they were running late. O.K., how late? I verified my appointment with them on Friday (two days before) for this time so I could arrange my other appointments accordingly for this day. The service manager did not know but would get back to me. He finally returned my call at 3:45pm to say he still had not got a hold of his electrician. I canceled my 1 pm appointment at 3:45pm with no arrival time yet and told them I would not use them again. I really found it unacceptable and infuriating. I think the public should be able to charge "professionals" for wasting OUR time.
Description of Work: They were suppose to add some security lighting to my carport but never showed up for the job.

I live outside of Anchorage and he was willing to come out here. A lot of companies just weren’t willing to come out here. This company is large enough and they have enough people working for them that they can send teams in different directions. They do a really good job; they have good workmanship. It was good but it wasn’t perfect. We had one little snag after the whole thing was finished that I would have liked to have been handled differently. They responded to me but it took some time and it took more than one phone call. They were here when they said they would be here. Overall I was satisfied.
Description of Work: For electrical work I use Raven Electric.
