My Property Management company called pioneer door. Pioneer texted me 8 hours later and came by the next day. by that time i already repaired it myself so i can get my truck out of the garage. They charged me $110.

It went very well. They don't do painting, so I had the door sections and the stop moulding delivered ahead of time so I could paint them. I followed their instructions on the prep work for the painting and that went smoothly. Once I had that done, I scheduled the install. Their installer, Camden, was on time, worked hard, appeared to be quite competent, and did excellent work. He asked me for input when required and provided me good advice on maintenance. I'm very happy, both with the new garage doors and openers and with the service they provided. I didn't get other price quotes, but the price seemed reasonable.

The salesman, Don Wells, arrived promptly and was courteous and professional. He assessed the damage to the old door, explained what needed to be done, and left a catalog with options for replacing the door. After we had chosen a new door style, we called the company back and they made an appointment to have the door installed the following week. Again, the workman was prompt, courteous, and skillful. The base price to replace the door was $1350, which was less than we had feared, and we decided to upgrade to a door with windows at $65 per panel. We chose to install a white door, as the color we would have chosen was not in stock and would have taken 6 additional weeks. The finished product looks very nice and works great.

PD did a fine job installing the doors even though the space was somewhat cramped. The installer was professional and friendly. No adjustments were necessary after the fact. They might have been able to do a slightly better job cleaning up some of the rivets and small junk that fell to the floor during the install, but this is a very minor quibble.

After 11 years, the garage door motor gave out. Called Pioneer as we have used them before. 1st visit from them on 3/23/12 was to diagnose the problem. We were given a price, but I then asked about the home show going on that coming week and was told we could get a show discount. Originally quoted price of $425. With show discount, price was $395. On day of replacement, the installer called and said he was running behind. He offered to still come late that afternoon (6 pm) or come the next day 1st thing in morning. We opted for the same day, late in afternoon (early evening). He showed up as anticipated and quickly installed the new motor and railing. Installed the new sensors, the wall unit, and programmed the new remote, 2 of our old remoted and the remote in the car. He serviced the door itself and discovered that one of the hinges was broke. He had the part, so that repair was completed that date. Thankfully, so we did not have to schedule another date. He serviced the rest of the hinges and door. spraying lubricant. Love the new door opener. It is very quiet compared to the old one. This new one is the Odyssey 1000, belt drive. Very happy with service, and price. Would have been a big hassle if husband and I tried to go cheap and buy motor/rail and install ourselves. Plus, we would not have noticed the broken hinge. And we would have struggled to program all the remotes. We're not savvy about those things. Worth the price to have it done.
