He wrote up an estimate and then called and asked if he could just start with one project, see if I still liked him, and then do the rest. So he came and eventually did the surround and did an okay job but missed a section that goes around the tub. He also had left tape around the tub, and he had not pressed it on well because there was paint under the paint. I called and told him this, and he wouldn't come back. We had 2 other dates he was supposed to be come back, but he did not. I called and asked where he was and he said he was at another job. He said that job was supposed to be done 3 days ago and if he didn't finish up they would fire him. I asked him about the work we still needed finished and he said he had been hoping that we would just find someone else. He also told me that he could make more money at the other job and that's why he was going to stay there.
