Cory was great. He cut the keys in advance, so his time on-site was very quick, just changing the locks. He was prompt and finished ahead of schedule. Happy and friendly - a nice guy to deal with.

He came all the way out to Peters Creek on a Sunday in less time than he had even said, was able to open my locked garage in a couple of minutes, provided me with 2 new keys and was very friendly and professional. He was the only one who responded right away. His bill was less expensive than an estimate from one of the other locksmiths too.

I called Northstar Locksmiths as we just purchased a new home and would like to have the three exterior doors rekeyed to the same key. I spoke with Steven when I called, he was not overly chatty (which i appreciate) while giving me prices and reasons for them. The costs all seemed reasonable. He let me know that after 4 pm his guys were considered to be on overtime, there for it would be best to schedule earlier in the day if possible. They had an opening available for the day after tomorrow, which was much sooner than expected. After making an appointment I spoke with my husband and found out we would be purchasing new hardware for the doors and he (my husband) wasn't sure he would have it installed in time for the appointment. I called Northstar Locksmith back to reschedule, expecting them to be a bit annoyed, but they were not. They did ask the reason for my having to reschedule and when I explained the new hardware they said that I could bring in the hardware to be rekeyed (saving the service call fee for them driving to Eagle River) or I could look at the number on box of the hardware and match them all up, which would ensure that the hardware we bought all used the same key (there by eliminating the need for the service of a locksmith). Personally, I think it shows real integrity to let a potential customer, and source of income, know that they could avoid the use of your service by purchasing a product carefully. I would definitely recommend this company and if we ever have use of a locksmith in the future, these guys are already in my cell phone as the ones to call.

Great company to do business with...they have been operating here for many years and are family owned....The man they sent to install the locks was on time, knowledgeable, and very considerate. He even vacuumed the dust created by drilling into the doors. His name is YIN and I will ask for him when I need additional locks on the fence we will have built next summer.

I made an appointment, when they were on the way they called to reconfirm and showed up on time. Not only did Sean re-key our front and back door locks, he repaired (free of charge) our front door. It had never closed properly, Sean replaced all the stripped screws in the hinge so the door hung properly and more sturdily and adjusted the strick plates. The door now closes completely, smoothly and securely... not to mention the perfect locking mechanism. I heartily recommend this company. Three new locks, 8 keys and a perfect front door for just over $100.00.

Was referred by Angie's list. Made an appointment on the phone. Serviceman came on time and rekeyed all the locks in about 90minutes. He had a complete key and lock workshop in his van. Was very polite and informative. I was surprised that the cost was so low.

I followed their advice and bought my new keypad deadbolt elsewhere. When I brought the locks to them, they were able to promptly match my new deadbolt by re-keying my old deadbolt. They listened closely and understood that I was replacing locks in part because it was a new home and I was not confident the keys were secure before they were given to me. That directed us to re-keying the existing deadbolt from the home with the same lock on the new keypad deadbolt. They were able to promptly help me each visit to the store and help me avoid overspending in an effort to replace the locks on my new home
