My combo boiler/hot water went out yesterday Moore did a great job and came up with innovative solutions to get it fixed quickly - very pleased as temps are going to below zero and big snow has begun. Also great job on mask-wearing for COVID. I have used Moore Heating, including buying my boiler from them 9 years ago, and very pleased with their professional service!

Great! All work was completed in a timely manner and the service technician was friendly. The need for a repair was discovered which the technician needed to order parts for, but the problem and solution was explained fully along with costs which were conveniently included in the invoice.

The replacement went well. Failed imported combi was replaced with dependable cast iron boiler and indirect water heater.

The service manager, Torrey, provided me with a wealth of information about thermostats, and outlined how we could troubleshoot the issue(s). They had a service technician at my home by 5:00, and Jeremy did an excellent job! Not only did I have heat, but also, he showed me how to reset the furnace in case it shut off during the night, and he promptly arrived the next day with all the parts needed to figure out what the problem was. I highly recommend Moore's--they're very professional and stand behind their work! There's nothing so lovely as the sound of a furnace running reliably in the winter! Thank you Moore's!

Tech checked the furnace and determined it was a thermostat problem. He then gave me options and reduced the bill by 5%! Couldn’t be happier!

We are retired and installing new ducts and central air conditioning was a big decision for us as far as investment. We had worked with Moore Heating and A/C here in Anchorage, AK before. We had wonderful service with them installing a new furnace so we decided to give them a try. Moore has a really well qualified sales rep. that comes to your home to sit down and assess what your needs are. His name is Tony and he is about the most personable guy you will ever work with. We were a little on the fence about having air conditioning as we live in Anchorage, AK (37 years). No one in our entire neighborhood has A/C; but the summer of 2019 broke our backs with the heat. Tony was an effective resource on what was happening around Anchorage and what kind of A/C units were good options. I remember him teaching us what level of air conditioner we needed, taking into account we live in Alaska. I appreciated that he has lived in AK long enough to know the weather and the changes. Questions? We had scads of them and Tony never made us feel like we were taking up his time. After we gathered our information and weighed the options, we were able to tell him what our first choice would be...but we weren't sure we could afford it. Tony said, no problem. He would work up an estimate on as many options as we wanted. He then walked around the house measuring spaces and giving suggestions as to where to put our central A/C unit outside. We also wanted new ducts, and there he went, down to our terrible small crawl space to measure it up. There were no commitment papers signed; he just shook our hands and said he would have the estimates within a day or two. And he was punctual on that point also. Our estimate came online and we were able to see costs for all the different options (Central A/C, Mini Split wall units, even window air conditioners). We were extremely pleased with the estimate for both the central air and an entire new modern duct system. We had the money in savings, but Tony told us about how they offer financing and we took it. The installment was scheduled just a few weeks away. Tony told us it would be just about 2 days of work, (due to duct system replacement). I had to see it to believe it but these very professional guys were a team that got all the work done in 2 days! Moore set up having the city inspector come out and verify all the codes. All the employees we dealt with were professional, respectful of our home, punctual and open to any questions while they worked. Outstanding company. Could not ask for better. Now all our neighbors want to come look at the air conditioner as if we had a new grand child in the family. Greatest asset? Tony H. the Moore representative. Moore removed and replaced my water heater in mid November. First class work performed and no issues with it since. Had the duct work cleaned for the first time and while pricey worth knowing they’re clean of debris.

The installer was very knowledgeable and polite. He started on time worked very hard, he made the hard work Look easy the installer was very good at his job very patient, there was so many intricate details. I admire his patience. Would definitely hire again!

Very well, they completed it in one day correcting a couple issues left by the original contractor sub that installed original unit.

Not too well. 2 weeks after the install of the mother board and new thermostat furnace kept shutting off.

Service technician arrived on time and very professional. He showed me what he was going to do and then performed the service. Will definitely use them again

Tony came to look at our system and write up a bid. He was timely, efficient, very friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions. The bid was a bit higher than we had hoped, and so we waited to hear from our other bids. Tony called weekly to see if we had any further questions. He was very patient. We eventually accepted the bid and scheduled the work. Everything was performed on time, and the technician was also friendly and communicative. We are happy with the service. One note - we never did see an exact point by point list of all the costs associated with the work - we saw the total costs and the tasks involved. It would have been nice to understand exactly what the costs were in order to understand why the project was as expensive as it was.

100% pleased with Moore! My 14 year old gas furnace (present when I bought the house) was blowing CO so it was shut down. I called Moore for a bid based on the positive Angie's List reviews. Tom came out and spent quite a bit of time here, calculating the size requirements based on my home, and explaining the different types of furnaces I could buy, and the pros and cons of each. As it turns out, the 100,000 BTU furnace I had was too big for my 1,200 sq ft home. Tom recommended a 70,000 BTU unit, with variable speed blower, A basic, one speed unit would have been about $1,000 less but I decided to go with the variable speed Lennox. Tom also informed me that the existing return air venting was insufficient for the old unit, and would not be sufficient for the new one. Tom was very patient, answering all of my questions. As a 50 year old woman who doesn't know much about furnaces, this was a big deal to me. I hope Moore realizes what a valuable employee they have in Tom. They were able to schedule the install for two days later, even though they were booked 2+ weeks out (they reserve earlier spots for people with no heat). Tony did the install, and once again, I was very impressed. He was also very patient and answered all of my questions... and I had a lot throughout the day. I had been concerned about who they'd send to do the install, because you can buy the best furnace out there, but if it's not installed right, you've got problems. Do you want problems with your furnace for the next 15 years? I don't. Tony has 40 years of HVAC experience - and knows what he is doing. Another example of a great Moore employee. Last but not least - the ladies that handle their phones were also very personable, and helpful. A few people have commented that Moore's prices could be lower, but I fully believe you get what you pay for. I was pleased with the price I was charged, based on the excellent service I received. It's worth noting - the HVAC company I have used for years for maintenance, submitted a bid for a basic unit WITHOUT even coming out to my house, or discussing it with me over the phone. I replied to the email asking for a price for a variable speed unit - and never heard from them again. And it wasn't a small 2nd rate company either - it's one of the bigger ones (also on Angie's List). Had I gone with them, I am sure my return air issue would have not been addressed, which would have shortened the lifespan of the new furnace. I have not one complaint about this company. Needless to say, i will be using them from now on for annual maintenance, too!

It's good. The responsiveness is good. We have no complaints. There were two people. They were very nice. We had a little trouble with parts. It was a couple of days. It usually doesn't take that time, but something went wrong. They were all nice.

Excellent. Careful examination of the unit. Waited for confirmation everything was working properly. Good guy.

They put in my water heater, but there was something that happened in between then; but I can't remember what it was. They had been recommended to me by some friends of ours who are really picky people when it comes to having things done. Their pricing seems to be a little high.

I will definitely be calling on them in the future for maintenance and if we have any other issues.

Called Moore Heating about 10am on Sunday morning. Received call back in about 15 min with approximate arrival time for their technician. He arrived on time and the motor was replaced in approximately one hour.

Our furnace was becoming unreliable and we knew it would be a short time before it quit. Moore had someone at our house, on a Saturday, within 2 hours of talking with the office staff. The person they sent out, Mr. Davis, was great. He explained what he was doing and provided a quote for a new furnace on the spot. He said he'd schedule the installation on Monday and would try to get our new furnace installed by the time we were scheduled to travel mid-week. We got a call scheduling the installation before 8am on Monday and they were able to get it done before we left. Their response and follow up was exceptional.

Moore did an excellent job on everything and even came in a little under budget on the humidifier replacement.
