They refused to pay for deck issue they caused had to go to BBB

I used them for a summer. The pricing was fair. Whenever the guy is sitting in the middle of the cul-de-sac and calls me "hey baby", that was more than I could handle. That is why I discontinued the service. I won't say I'm an old woman but I think I was in my 50's at that time, it was a younger guy and as a woman I felt really disrespected. They tried to make it right and tell me that they reprimanded him, but that guy was still coming out to do my lawn.

Work was okay. Took less time than they bill for.

I have used JUST LAWNS before and although more expensive than other companies, they do a decent job of cutting grass. I scheduled a one time cut in August as I was out of town for 2 weeks. I was charged $95 for the cut and $27 for bagging and hauling the grass. I live on about 1/3 of an acre. Who in there right mind would pay $127 to have their grass cut? The time I used them before was $60. When I called to complain about the excessive charges, the billing person Cheryl, was extremely rude, raised her voice, and was extremely unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE!!!

First they said they'd be here Thursday, but didn't show. Then they said Friday or Sat., but didn't show either day. And they never called to tell me that, either. Forget it!

That they do a good job, I mean a fairly good job it's not excellent but they do it pretty good. They do what I don't want to do, just keep on doing what they are doing. They do exactly what I ask them if I do go out there and ask them something, they are right on time they say they are going to be there within a week and they are, they don't have a set time they just show up and do their job.

I have used Just Lawns several times in the past for lawn mowing and had wonderful service. This summer was a different story. I called to ask if edging could be done and was scheduled a few days out but no one showed up. I called the office and was told they would be there the next week, on "x" or "y" date. Again, no show. This happened three times. Each time I would call the office. Finally a man appeared with a trimmer/weed whacker and trimmed the sidewalk. I called the office and said that is not what I wanted, I trim the sidewalk, I wanted it edged. The office receptionist (very polite) said they made a mistake and someone would be out the following week on "x" or "y" date. Again, no show. I called the office again and said that if I was even on a list to take me off it as it had been a no show for four weeks. One week after that someone left me a voice message saying they could do edging if I wanted it. I did not call them back. Although I have had good service in the past, this was definitely a negative experience that erased my confidence in their reliability and customer service.

They are unethical. Quote less than they bill, when you receive the bill and call to discuss it takes forever for the owner Joe to return calls. By then they have provided the service even longer and continue to bill more. Office staff not helpful, they state the Owner has to call which can take weeks. They put a price in writing, billed more, called them to tell them they made a mistake, took awhile to find they had no intention of changing their billing back to the amount they quoted. By then they had "provided the service". Termed their service, paid them what they quoted. They filed a collection and I had to pay because they Provided the service. Don't use them.

The guys who did the work did a great job. Unfortunately the owner lost my check and apparently others who paid by check. I had to pay to put a stop payment on the check, send another check and the owner never provided an explanation as to how this happened or what was being done to see it didn't happen in the future. The entire situation was not handled very well in my opinion.

Terrible service and unresponsive customer care. It did start out ok,but when I noticed the mechanical damage they had caused to the base of my apple tree trunk I was concerned. I planted this tree 4 years ago with my grandsons. It had a good crop last year. Now it is badly injured and I'm praying it doesn't die. A tree expert came and confirmed the damage was caused by careless use of the trimmer. I took pictures and sent them to the email address for Just Lawns. I talked to Cheryl who said Joe (the owner) would call me. That was a week ago. He never called. I asked Cheryl not to send the crew out again until this got resolved and that didn't happen either. On Wednesday, they came and whacked the tree some more. I was and still am very upset. Took more pictures sent another email, called again and ended my agreement with them. Although the gal that answered the phone was very apologetic the owner, who should have taken responsibility, has not addressed the issue. I wouldn't recommend his company to anyone. No one has bothered to reach out and make some kind of restitution for the damages. Terrible customer service by the owners. I am hoping my tree survives but may not know until next spring.

We had a couple of issues and they came back and took care of it. I am considering changing because they come on garbage day and I don't want to haul them back and forth from the street to the back yard and then back to the street on the day of garbage pick-up. I want them to do it on a Monday and they come on Tuesday which is garbage day. That way I could leave them there.

Did a nice job at a reasonable price

We pay $45 every week for the mowing, and the fall and spring clean ups are about $200. It has gone very well. They always do a good job on the lawn.

Once again, Just Lawns has done a phenomenal job! We've used them for several years for both spring and fall clean-up. The crew that takes care of our lawn obviously takes great pride in their work. The work is consistently well done, and in our view, above and beyond. Emails are consistently answered. We will gladly continue to use Just Lawns for our lawn care.

We had used Just Lawns for both mowing and plowing. Generally provided good service at reasonable prices. Recently, we had our house painted and they came to mow shortly after. They ran the mower against the side of the house in multiple locations which had to be repainted. The owner agreed to come out and look. We set a time and he did not show. He did not call to follow up and I received a bill for that day's work.

Customer Service was lousy....left messages but most were not returned... Raised price of snow plowing w/o giving any notice... Lawn workers damaged property and tried to hide the damage instead of reporting it....Just Lawns eventually paid for damage but never called to discuss the situation or apologize I was a customer for 2=3 years and always paid my bill but was dropped because I would not give them my credit card number....instead of adjusting the software billing system to accommodate a customer who always paid the bill in a timely manner they decided to drop me again without informing me of their decision

Two guys came and they had blowers, mowers, edgers, weed wackers and just went to work quickly and it saved me hours of time racking. They asked if there was anything else they could do and I had them move some heavy items around. They were pleasant and efficient. I would use them again.

Just Lawns is terrific in my book. They were here to begin our third season and man, did they work. I was gone a lot last Fall, but did not realize how many leaves did not get cleaned out of the brush in the back yard. Dave and Eric, today's crew, were exceptionally polite, hardworking, and communicated well. That has been our experience the two prior seasons as well. When there's extra work required, the crew boss always discusses the need and anticipated cost ahead of time with me. I have always been satisfied with the service they provide and the way the yard looks when they are finished. Great work, guys! Thank you. Dwight G. Eagle River, AK

The person mowing the lawn used a riding type mower that left bald spots in the yard and when the large wheels turned, it dug up the grass in several areas of the yard. When he turned around in the driveway, which is gravel, the wheels dug into the gravel leaving holes. I asked that the grass clippings be bagged and hauled away. The grass clippings were dumped in a spot behind the shed (which I was surprised he found). I called and spoke with them, and complained about the poor service and the shape the yard was left in (bald spots from the wheels) and the dumping of the grass. They apologized for the grass clippings not being bagged and did not charge me. They also said they could send someone out to pick them up, but I declined. When I received the bill in the mail, I noticed they even got my email address incorrect.

We have been so very happy with their service this summer. The are fast, methodical and make us look great! Imagine a refuge where you can enjoy a cup of tea on a velvety lawn and absorb the scents of flowers and fresh-cut grass. They have been very reliable, in and out with minimal disruption, bagging up the cuttings ready for garbage pickup, flexible in payment frequency, work with a smile, and care about their clients. Highly recommend!

I have used Just Lawns intermittently to mow my lawn over the last three years, using them primarily when out of town or unable to mow my lawn myself. They do a beautiful, neat job every time. They are fast, efficient, clean up after themselves and the lawn looks great.

I needed more than just lawns provides- trim hedges, clean up flower beds, etc. - so went to provider that did more.

My lawn mower broke, and while it was out for repair I turned to Just Lawns, who had been recommended by a neighbor. They came out the same day that I called them. Sweet. Very nice people. The second time they came, I'm afraid that they weed wacked a flower garden, but I have to admit that I did not tell them that it was a garden -- things were just coming up and perhaps he thot they were weeds? Next time I use them I will be more specific.

Mowing, including edge trimming. Alternate cutting direction weekly.

Lawn service was incomplete, despite clear per-order and conversation with the workers that day. Hedge trimming wasn't done initially because the team forgot the hedge trimmer. When they did return, they didn't bring a ladder or any mechanism to ensure a straight cut. Finally, billing was repeated numerous times, despite phone calls to their office to confirm payment had already been made. Workers were nice enough, but to many things were wrong with the service and can't recommend using this company.
