Let me start this by saying I have never used this company for glass. However, I will forever be using this company and recommending everyone I know to use it. My car caught on fire on the side of the highway and I’m currently 6 months pregnant. I watched helplessly as the fire got bigger, and Dennis and Newton (part of this company) pulled over so quickly and immediately went to work on putting the fire out. They also made sure I was okay and that I was safe. Because of them, the fire didn’t spread and it stopped at the tire area (where it caught) They then stayed with me until more help arrived. I am beyond grateful for these two men. They are true Alaskans and selflessly acted. I will support them time and time again. Talk about instant service!!!

Quality of windows and workmanship was great, minor hiccup when only 7 windows was original order so had to wait 1 month for the job to be completed with the eighth window install. My only grip is one of the windows did not close/latch properly after installation causing a concern for my family's safety. Workers looked at it while they were back installing the eighth window and determined they could also not get it to close/latch properly. Was informed the owner (Dennis) would contact Capital Glass (window manufacturer) for warranty work supposedly provided with purchase. I was never contacted by anyone and had to communicate back and fourth several times with Dennis to try and get this issue resolved. I ended up resolving the issue myself but still have not received communication from Capital Glass and only excuses from Dennis. It seems there is NO warranty provided from either Capital Glass or Instant Windows. I will not be using their services again.

I'm sorry there isn't a zero star rating. Called to request a quote on a broken window on a Friday, had a good response time on Saturday, employee was told we wanted an estimate. Received a call from the business owner Tuesday stating they were on the way for installation. We never received a quote nor did we schedule a date/time for install. We were not home and was badgered about when would I be home. We then agreed upon a solution for the next day. On my way home, I received the following text: "Um, it was my understanding it was planned to install today. I called in extra man to get ya done. Im starting a large job tomorrow. If we cant do today by 5pm. We are cancelling you and you will have to call another company or you will have to wait intill the 10th." I called him to explain again at no point did we ever discuss a date for install or that he was hired. I have since received 4 more texts ranging from him telling me that whoever we hire can buy the glass from him as it has already been cut to the next day when I didn't respond telling me he had his guy throw it in the dumpster. Completely unprofessional and a bully, especially to women!!

Perfect. No one can ever do it as fast or at the same price. Some were twice as much. Have used 4 times and have been very happy.

The owner was rude and totally unprofessional. He actually texted me chewing me out for not using him. Here's the text conversation: HIM: "You goofed lady! It wood have been done this morning. Im angry cause I was in rte. Thats like calling a cab. And cancelling. I jisr put you on the dontt answer list." ME: "Thinking you were going to brow beat me into hiring you was your mistake, sir. If you think this text is good business practice - good luck!" HIM: "Im going to laugh when curtis gets there and he tell a you next wk. Lol" ME: You may have the last word..." HIM: "Thank you. Sorry its not getting fixed till next wk" HIM (again): "c6xzzdgg" I can only assume his last text was code for some vulgar term/word towards me. The owner (I've since forgotten his name) was rude to me on the phone too, before the text - I'm providing you only the worst of this unfortunate interaction. It wasn't bad enough that I was already upset that someone had tried to break in to my home (which is why I needed my window replaced, and what I told him in my voice mail to him during my initial call) - but then I had to be treated in this very uncaring manner by this man who felt I owed it to him to hire him. My 23 year old son was livid that this man would treat me this way and wanted to respond, but I reminded him we're better than that. To be honest, I'm concerned that this man might retaliate against me but I feel it my ethical obligation to inform the public about his highly unprofessional conduct.

Dennis came right over and gave me an estimate. Good guy. He could have had the pane ready for me much sooner than I needed it, but I had things going on. We picked a day for him to come back and install the window pane he had measured for. He called the day before to confirm, and he showed up at the time he said he would. Good experience.

Was pleased with the overall job.
