I had my home roof replaced by Fortuny Roofing in May 2007 and they did a good job. Their pricing was higher then other quotes but they were professional, punctual, communicated well, and did exactly what they quoted they would do to replace my old roof. This Spring, approximately early April 2013, I contacted Fortuny Roofing to get an estimate on replacing the roof on my shed so it would match my home. The office receptionist was polite and took my info and said I would hear back from Brett Fortuny within a few days. I never received the call back from Brett or any estimator from Fortuny Roofing even after a week had passed. I again contacted the office and reminded her of my request for a shed estimate and that this was my second call. She said she would make sure Brett got back to me. I asked her to confirm Brett's cell phone number that I had from my previous business with Fortuny Roofing and she confirmed the number I had was correct. I called Brett Fortuny's cell phone and left a detailed message. I knew it was his correct cell phone because of the voice message greeting. Several weeks passed and I received no calls from Fortuny Roofing. I attempted calls again to Brett's cell phone and to the office. The office receptionist said they were very busy and she would again make sure Brett got my message. Again, no call back from Fortuny. I called Brett's cell phone again around mid July 2013 and he answered the phone. He said he could barely hear me because he was in an elevator and the reception was bad. I explained my desire to have my shed roof replaced to match my house. Despite the poor connection he acknowledged my request and said he was about to get out of the elevator and for me to hold on. Next thing I know, the phone call was disconnected and the line was dead. I figured that was due to the poor connection and expected that Brett would call me back once he got into good cell coverage. I waited over an hour for a call-back and never received one. I then called Brett back on his cell phone and it went straight to voicemail. I left him a message requesting he call me back to confirm he is willing to do the job or at least let me know they will not be able to complete the job and I could move on to another roofing company. As of today, I have received no response from Fortuny Roofing. I am very disappointed in the poor communications and I will not be using Fortuny Roofing in the future.

I asked for a quote to replace my roof. He was very honest with me and suggested my roof was in good shape for at least another 5 years. And did not charge me for the evaluation though he spent a good half hour or more.

They came out and did an estimate spring 2012. We discussed prices, he explained that if I was willing to wait until winter I could get a discount of about 1,000. My roof was not an in an emergency state. I pointed out where the ceiling was dripping in the house. He inspected roof and said he could stop the drips. I waited until Dec. 2012, and it turned out that they had a lot of winter jobs. I was willing to wait until Febuary for the roof replacement. It took 3 days, I barely noticed they were there. The roof looks great, no more leaking from the ceiling. Great work, dependable, willing to discuss alternatives.
