Description of Work: We called Dominic on Monday 12/07/15 and he agreed to come out 12/09/15 at approximately 4:30 to give us an estimate on our bathroom remodel. No show.

Description of Work: Changed out our broken garbage disposal and replaced it with the new one we provided.

Description of Work: Dominic came to our home to look at a bathroom remodel. He said he would get back to us on an estimate. Several emails and 2+ months later, we still have not received an estimate.

Description of Work: Viewed bathroom floor for fixing a water leak.

Description of Work: Dominick came to my house on a Saturday to do an estimate on installing the plumbing for a new sink. He was very friendly and professional. He said he thought he could have the estimate for me by that Tuesday. That was a few weeks ago and I have not heard from him. I did email him once with no result.

Description of Work: We had a large closet space under our stairs that we wanted to turn into a half bathroom. Dominic came in and was really friendly and returned an estimate to us very quickly. As with any project there were some hitches but they were all handled well and the job was down quickly and looks great. | |Just for a bit of comparison. I've used Luxury Bath of Alaska before to update a bathroom and I talked to Rebath. Luxury bath did an ok job but the finished details weren't quite what I would have expected and there were lots of delays. Rebath wouldn't even give me an estimate. They came out and looked at it but didn't send the estimate. I called them 4 times about it and never got one. They seem to have that typical alaska business attitude of "I'm the only game in town so you will have to put up with us". | |I never felt that way with Equity Builder. Our project was small but I certainly felt like our happiness was important to them and they really listened to what we wanted.

Description of Work: Having gutted the area being remodeled and completed the new framing, plumbing and electrical work required, we appointed Equity Builder Home Improvement to extend the existing floor tiles into the new laundry area, install all drywall, resurface the walls to match the rest of the house and construct a new fully tiled custom-built shower.

Description of Work: Dom and his guys did a great job on a bathroom remodel. Basically gutted everything, replaced a rotted subfloor, then tiled the floor, installed new tub, shower insert, and vanity & mirror. Gave me good guidance on what to look for when buying the tub & insert.

Description of Work: Dom and his crew remodeled our main bathroom. He was great to work with and kept us informed of sales that his provider offered and allowed us to choose from discounted items.

Description of Work: Total bathroom remodel, tile through out bath,shower, toilet, vanity gallery, trim work, new lighting & ventilation, granite counter tops new plumbing/fixtures through out. Dominic and his crew came in on budget, work completed by stated time, transformed an badly needed make over remodel bath vanity into a upscale high quality retreat we are very please with. Did i mention project occurred in March in Alaska with record snow fall and huge demand for emergency repairs for ice & snow damaged homes in sub zero temps. Thumbs up, true to the name Home Equity Builders and totally due to the professional craftsmanship & pride in product & service the value of our home increased significantly. Thank You Dominic.

Description of Work: We needed our bathroom and kitchen remodeled and after receiving an unbelievably high estimate for just the bathroom from another company, a coworker suggested this company. Dominic, the owner came out and provided an estimate ($2,000) for our bathroom. His prices were very reasonable (about 1/4 of the other estimate we got) and he was friendly and professional. After I met him, I trusted him enough to give him the keys to our condo while we were out of town to complete the bathroom. They did an excellent job and made everything look great. About a month later, we were so pleased, we decided to have them do our kitchen. He gave us an estimate of $5,000 and I felt that was incredible for a complete transformation (except appliances). They put up cabinets that we had picked (in stock cabinets from Home Depot) and he made sure to choose them carefully and made them look great. Again, we left them to do it while we were gone and we were amazed at the transformation. I allowed him to use his discretion in a few aspects of the design and he impressed me with the things he did. Something as simple as crown molding on top of the cabinets made them look great and it was the details like that that made the work they did look so good. They paid attention to detail, left our condo as clean as when they had come and everything was hooked up and ready to go. I liked how transparent Dominic was in the whole process. He buys supplies at Lowe's and Home Depot and does not mark the prices up nor did he charge a delivery fee. I am going to use these guys again to install some new windows and have appreciated the work they did for us.
