This was a an experience new to me. The inspector - James Diemer - is one of the most professional, knowledgeable people I have met. The inspection was extremely thorough and quite a learning experience for me. James answered all my questions. His report was extensive and prompt. I don't easily recommend people. I would recommend James and his company without hesitation. Thorough, professional, knowledgeable. This is about the best $500 I ever spent.

He quickly skimmed over the report and skimmed over the property and when he came back to re-inspect for an additional $100, he all of a sudden noticed different piping in the crawl space, then made sure I knew again that he wasn't responsible for any fixes. I didn't feel comfortable he completed a thorough inspection and he didn't seem to want to go the extra mile or treat me like a customer.
Description of Work: Performed a re-inspection of the initial home inspection to ensure fixes were made.

Dave the owner provided the inspection service. He showed up on time and answered questions during the inspection. The inspection report was issued later the same day as the inspection was performed. The house is a 4 bedroom, approximately 2,600 square feet, built by Harding Homes in 2001 and is 5 star energy rated. The life safety / building code related items that needed to be addressed were passed on to the seller, who then corrected them. Essentially there were no other items to be addressed. After the items were corrected Dave went to the house and verified these items were completed ok. The second inspection cost $100. Payment was easy to make as Dave carries a electronic credit card reader. The roof shingles could not be inspected as the roof was snow covered. After moving into the house once the sale closed, we found a couple of items that are being addressed by the seller: water temperature adjustment for the garage water spigot and a bathroom light switch issue.
Description of Work: Provided a home inspection representing the buyer.
