I was very disappointed with the person that came out, I did not have them do the work due to the unprofessional behavior and their suggestion of just "throwing up" a carport, when I asked for a quote on a garage and retaining wall to prevent the hill from sliding and give me a secure place for tools and the car. His proposal was to tie on to the roof of the house and span the carport 16 feet with out further support. He did not measure until I gave him a tape measure and then said he didn't need to take notes, he could remember it. Upon leaving insisted on a $100 deposit for the quote, sorry to say I paid him and then he left. 2 weeks later he emailed a 4 line quote without specifics. I feel robbed

From worst to extremely bad

I found them on Angie’s List. They said that they had an A rating, but it has been a very questionable relationship. Their estimate for the job was $300, and they finally got it down to $250. I had given an $80 check for the estimate to the man who came down, and it was to be applied to the services. I had issued the check on the company name, and the owner called and said that the bank wouldn’t accept the check because it didn’t have his personal name on it. I think that is unusual, because he should have a business account. He came back, and I gave him another check for $250, because he needed the check to go and buy supplies to clean my deck. I thought that was unusual too, because he was running it so close that I had to pay for the supplies before he could use them. He sent a man back at around five in the evening, which was very late, and he started scrubbing my deck with some gallons of detergent and my broom, which I had offered. He didn’t have any power washing equipment, so he scrubbed and scrubbed, and he had just started on my driveway, when his boss came and picked him up at seven. When I questioned him about the power equipment, he said that it was at another job, and he was going to go and get it. When he came back, he said that he didn’t have any power equipment. So that man is going to come and scrub my driveway this morning, with my hose and my broom. I have some more work that I wanted him to do, but now I don’t know if I want him to do any more work for me at all. He said that he was sorry, and that it was all a misunderstanding, but it was just his total inefficiency. The worker who worked here really worked hard, and he did a good job, but I was really surprised that he had to come and get another check so that he could go and buy some supplies, and the fact that he doesn’t have a business account. I was also surprised that he sent that man to scrub my deck with a gallon of detergent. I have cats, cats lick their feet, and I would just be horrified if anything happened to them.

Although this provider was timely with a response to my on-line query, when I returned his call to arrange an estimate, he said, "Well, do you want me to come and fix your fence?" When I said I wanted to arrange an estimate, he said he would charge me $80. for an estimate. I'm not sure why he thinks I would contract his services without knowing what the job will entail and the cost. This does not seem like a professional way to do business.

I told him not to bother coming back with the proper tools, etc.

Laborers were fine but did not complete the project. The owner was completely unprofessional and refused to fix and complete the work as well as did not provide an invoice or receipt for the work. He cashed the check as quick as he could and then hung up on us on every follow-up call to get our paperwork. Three other neighbors used other Contractors in town with prices ranging from $359-$525 and the quality of the work was incomparable.

It went very well. Cory was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. He started the snow removal immediately, worked diligently, and added a worker to finish the job in a timely manner. The wallpaper removal and texture went well. He ran into schedule conflicts with increasing calls for snow removal. Finally the walls and ceiling were completed. The only flaw was that some paint splashes got on bedding that was not covered properly.

He responded almost immediately on a request for a quote. The work was done in a professional and efficient manner. Did a very good job at removing the snow. I would hire him again.

It all went as I expected it to go.

I asked if he could come over later in the day?...that didn't work for him. Then in a very negative tone he said, I'll leave these guys here and come over right now, but I still have to buy the supplies. I said, "No, I have to leave for my 11:30 a.m. appointment." He again, said "I'm coming over right now." "I again said, "No, I'm leaving and I'm canceling the whole thing." I said, "I selected you from Angie's list, because you had a good rating and I thought you had your act together, but you are jerking me around and expect me to wait on you." Cory launched and started yelling at me and said, "You don't need to talk me like that! I have a lot of work out here! You can't talk to me like that! Still yelling at me, he started in with excuses about why he didn't do what he said he would do...etc., etc. I hung up on him. Then he calls back; I didn't answer. I left quickly. I was actually afraid he was going to come over and give me a hard time. This was very disturbing. This young man has a lot to learn about time, people, customer service, and professionalism. This business person demonstrates lack of regared for their customers and their time. This business person lit up with anger in a nano second and went off on me because he didn't like being called out on his haphazard business methods. Cory needs anger management. He also needs to grow up and to move out of the self centered world he lives in. I do not recommend doing business with him.

Cory was very professional and hard working. He out bid 2 other companies for the job by 2k. I appreciate the work he did and will definitely hire him again for other projects.
