+ -1 moreI cannot recommend this service enough. They have proved themselves over, and over, and over again for over 10 years.
Description of Work: Set up a new computer, synced it with our network, made sure our printer was working, and came back (without charge!) to make it more easily used by the users. My first interaction with Computer Medics of Anchorage was on Easter, 2008. My wife was finishing her Master's thesis, and the computer crashed and had to get her thesis done. Juan and Eva came in, fixed it, within two hours. I just hope I can find somebody half as good when we retire and move out of state.

Description of Work: My computer was having problems with the power supply. Computer Medics fixed the problem, answered several questions and made some helpful suggestions. The techinician was extremely courteous and professional. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

+ -1 moreWe called around because we thought we had either a powersource or motherboard problem. Of the five calls made of those who would do a housecall, Computer Medics (Juan), was the only one who did more than gave us fees and said that if it was the motherboard to plan on replacing the computer. He called back after a few minutes and said that our Dell model had a decent priced motherboard that would be cost effective to replace. He was able to come out the next day and - as it turned out it - determined quickly that it was the powersource. He also transfered files from an old computer to the current desktop in no time at all. I found him to be a friendly, interesting person who was able to explain in everyday terms what my problem was without me trying to translate from tech language. Would recommend him to any of my computer-baffled friends.
