+ 0 moreWe highly recommend Cassidy Plumbing and Heating. Brian of Cassidy's fixed zone valve problems two previous plumbers claimed were fixed, but they weren’t. He’s a “thinking” plumber, who listens to the clients description of the problem, asks questions, and then logically goes through a diagnosis and repair. He outlines options if they exist, is prudent about his costs and explains each cost item clearly. We plan to call Cassidy’s for all our plumbing needs in the future.

I do not know much about the bathroom world and how the end project should look like for good resell value and he helped guide me in the right direction. I was able to tell him my budget and he could tell me what they could do with that amount. He didn't pressure me into trying to do more or extend my budget. I was very please and will be using them in March when we start the remodel.

+ -1 moreBrian came and provided an estimate and within a week the work was complete, (I got in quickly due to a cancelation.) Jessie and Greg showed up right on time and were finished about an hour ahead of schedule. I had done all the prep work giving them access to the plumbing so they were in and out in about 6 hours. They were very skilful and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves completely, even vacuuming their sawdust from under the floor. I will definitely be calling them for my bathroom remodel.
Description of Work: Remove baseboards, install kickspace heater, move kitchen sink and refridgerator water supply.

+ -1 moreI had an appt scheduled to get a gas line bid. The appt was at 2pm. Brian called and left me a message at 1:15 to see if he could come early. I called him back at 1:18 and left a message stating that would be great. At 2pm Brian called again. I missed the call and called him back. He told me that because he had not gotten a hold of me he had moved on with his day and I was going to need to reschedule. What was the point of having an appt if he wasn't going to show up? My husband and I had both arranged to be here .... Totally ridiculous

Description of Work: This company was responsive and professional. They replaced a number of shut off valves and replaced a toilet. I also had them complete a number of upgrades in a bathroom remodel that I did including moving a shower drain for a walk in shower and hooking up the new control value for the shower. The also hooked up multiple H2O and drain lines for bathroom vanity as it the new one had 2 sinks vs one.

+ -1 moreJeff was very thorough looking in the crawlspace at our leaks, tracking them to the problem and helping us find people who could help with floor work before he comes back to seat our toilet.
Description of Work: He looked thoroughly for the reason for a couple of leaks, found the problems, and gave us names of other companys that we would need to contact before he would come back to seat our toilet.

The office person was very knowledgeable and helped me decide what to do as far as getting the fixutres etc. She set up an appointment about 2 days out and the plumber showed up on time and very quickly changed out the toilet and then the hot water heater. About 3.+ hours in all. I could not be happier! Very professional and good work. Will never use anyone else!
Description of Work: Pull out old toilet in Nunaka Valley house (1954 built) and install a hi rise toilet Pull out a very old hot water heater in Nunaka Valley house and install a new one (I purchased toilet and Hot water heater separately) Jeff , Totally cleaned up everything, protected the carpet and flooring and hauled everything away afterwards. Awesome

I also had the water filter to the well moved/re-piped to a more accessibe location and stabilized and made easier to change the water filter in the future. And lastly, I had the furnace serviced. The plumber was very polite, knowledgable, informative and efficient. I will definitely call Cassidy's Pand H again. I live in Eagle River and it is hard to find a good quality plumber that can get the work done in a timely fashion.

+ -1 moreOur boiler system started making gasping sounds at some point within the past 24 hours; we then noticed our in-floor radiant heat not keeping the correct tempurature. Called Cassiday's that evening and left a message re: the problem(s); they called back first thing the next morning, and were on site about 2 hours later.
Description of Work: Cassidy's staff are knowledgable and professional, and unlike many other similar vendors, don't play a guessing game at the customer's expense. They are friendly, answer/return calls promptly, and respond quickly. Call them first!

Description of Work: I am a Realtor and they serviced a boiler for me for a home that has been sold. But, I love Cassidy Plumbing and Heating. They will repair anything, but when I needed a new furnace, they gave me a list of people who would do a good job because they mainly install boilers as new. I was also satisfied with that person. + -1 moreThe whole process went great. The guy did a great job. He got to the house when he told me he would. He went right to work and found the problem right away. He explained what was wrong and he also explained what he was doing as he was doing it. I was very satisfied with his work. I have had several different companies come do plumbing work at my house but Cassidy will be the ones I call from now on.
Description of Work: Water was comming out of the boiler's overflow pipe. When the plumber got to the house and looked at the boiler he told me that the problem was not the overflow but the expansion tank. He replaced that and was checking everthing out when he noticed that water was comming out of one of the air release valves. He took it apart and cleaned it but that did not work so he also replaced that. When he was all done he told me that he hadn't used up an hours worth of time yet and asked me if I wanted him to clean the inside of the boiler and it would not cost any extra. I told him sure. He took it all apart and cleaned it.
