Excellent. The windows are solid and fit perfectly. The workers were courteous and skilled. They took care to protect our plants and belongings while removing and replacing all the windows. We will use them again when we do the second story.

I've made many attempts to contact this company to get an estimate on glass replacement for a kitchen window. The first couple of days I called, they kept transferring me to the dispatcher that was always out or unavailable. Even after leaving my contact information to the first person I spoke with and leaving a message on a person's cell phone I was transferred to, I did not get a return call. After mentioning the problems a few days later, I was finally able to get scheduled up for an estimate. I was told someone would be at my home at 9AM. I called the company at 9:45AM and they said they couldn't give me a specific time when they would stop by. The day passed and nobody showed. After calling them the next day and telling them nobody showed up, the reply I got was "Nobody showed up, eh?", no apology or concern. Once again I got transferred to the dispatcher that was not available. I didn't leave a message. Then I tried scheduling an appointment with them through Angie's List. They were pretty responsive and eventually left a message on my cell phone. I called them back and they told me that they can't get someone out there for at least a month. This boggles my mind. Based on other reviews, it sounds like they do a terrific job and quality work. It's too bad there was nothing I could do to get them to come out to my location. Their scheduling/dispatching needs more repair than my window does...

A couple hiccups during the quote and purchasing, but overall I would recommend Capitol Glass to anyone buying windows. You do want to do your homework and get other quotes as Capitol is not always the least expensive. They will however work with you AND you do know that you are getting a product that if broken during delivery will not take 6-8 weeks to get replaced. That and they stand behind their product. So far I've found the hardware and windows to be very good quality. Again, I would easily recommend this company to anyone looking for windows.

They came out and measured and gave me an estimate in a timely manner. They had one issue which they took care of internally and things went as well as could be expected. They sent out a crew that was quite knowledgeable about the service and they were as unobtrusive as could be. They got materials together so that when they started they were able to keep working in an efficient manner. They were quite tidy and I simply was impressed with their work. The windows look first rate, and I can't wait to see how they will reduce my heating bill this winter! I took advantage of their 25% discount special in March and I'm glad I did.

I am very happy with the company. I could have bought windows in my town instead of driving up to Anchorage but I am glad I made the trip. The windows are great quality, and working with Capitol Glass has been very easy. The are very friendly and were helpful with my many question. The customer service they provide outstanding.

I got estimates from three companies, using the dimensions of the largest window as a sample. Capitol's estimate was half of the others. One difference was that the sealing of the Capitol windows was not guaranteed. The others offered a guarantee. I decided the guarantee was not worth the extra price, for my application. The dimensions of the windows were very precise and they were ready at the time promised. I am very pleased with them.

Don't waste your time with these guys - unprofessional. I requested estimate for skylights and they said they would send someone out - two weeks later nothing. Called and asked what was going on - they indicated that they will get to me when they have time - likely the next week. Next week came and went with nothing. The following week, I get a call around noon on Thursday asking if they can stop by around 1 - well I couldn't because of work but asked can you make it a little later. There answer was no so I said does Friday work. They indicated that Friday was open so I cleared my schedule so I could leave at any time to meet them at house. No word at all. Another week went by and nothing. Complete joke of an organization.

They did a good job. They are local and they manufacture the windows here to custom fit one’s requirement. They were able to put one color on the outside of the house and a different color on the inside of the house, for a vinyl window. None of the other window companies I met with had offered that. The windows are dark brown outside so that they match the rest of the trim and I don’t ever have to paint them. The insides are white and they are triple pane windows. They work great and are pretty much sound proof.
