House was purchased a year ago with the disclosure that water had leaked through the garage wall but was fixed by moving the rain gutter down spout. Leaking has grown worse in the last year. Called a local landscaper/excavator whose webpage described in pictures their process of resealing foundations and installing "French Drains" to take care of water seeping through the foundation. Had the two walls of the foundation excavated and discovered the walls in question were never sealed. I attempted to contact the builder in question to discuss the foundation issue and the phone number was no longer in service. Searched the web for their home page and discovered the builder was no longer in business although their office address and telephone number were still listed. Drove to the office address and discovered an empty suite. Cul-de-sac neighbors whose house was built by builder in question have learned of our discovery. We hope this was an accidental mistake.
