BOWMAN CONSTRUCTION INC

We called Bowman out to Girdwood to perform a pre-winter check on our system last fall, and to look at a noisy pump while they were there. They checked out the system, and repaired the pump. However, the pump began making noise again, and we had to call them out again in December 2013. The repairman ended up completely replacing the pump. The repariman left us with a bill of about $250 for replacement of the pump. I ended up calling Ralph, the owner, as I thought that Bowman should have replaced without charge as it had only been 2 months since the previous repair. After a couple of conversations, Ralph stood by the warranty, and zeroed out the charge of $250. That was the honorable thing to do, and Ralph did it. You have to remember that not everyone will come out to work in Girdwood, and those that do often charge $100 just to show up at your door. Bowman not only does excellent work at a fair price, but he stands by his work. That is important to me in this era of hit-and-run repair jobs. I would highly recommend Bowman's, especially for those of us in Girdwood.
